Chapter 2: To the beta kindergarten

Steven walked out of the door, with Obsidian and Amethyst following him.
"Hey Steven, where are we going?" Amethyst asked.
"To the barn" Steven answered.
"The barn?" Obsidian asked
"Yeah, the barn. Lapis and Peridot live there too, you'll-"
"Lapis Lazuli and Peridot from Homeworld?" Obsidian asked. "I don't know if that's a good idea..."
"Come on, just try. You can always go somewhere else"
"Okay then. Let's move on"
"Good idea"
They continued walking, Amethyst and Steven talking to each other. Obsidian wasn't listening, she was thinkng about something else.

After a few minutes, Steven and Amethyst started talking louder and louder, getting more annoyed at each other.
Not like Obsidian cared at all. She just kept on thinking.
Suddenly, it seemed like she was more interested in their conversation. "What do you mean, beating Jasper?" she asked. "Why would you?"
"Why would I not?" Amethyst said uninterested.
"Because she's-" she started, but then she realised something. "You hate her, right?"
"Yep. How did you guess?"
"It wasn't hard. You know, never mind"
"Sure, whatever"
Obsidian held in a little, so she would have a little more private place to think as she continued walking. She really needed to think, but they had already arrived at the barn.

*Timeskip cuz lazy, nothing special happened between Lapis, Peridot and Obsidian, they forgot about her long ago and Peridot, Steven, Amethyst and Obsidian are going to the beta place now*

"We're here!" Peridot said.
Obsidian looked around as Peridot was telling Amethyst what was so bad about this place.
"Hey guys!" she called them after a few minutes. "Look! That's my hole!"
It was a hole, next to Jasper's, and just as perfect as hers, but thinner.
"Wow" Peridot said. "Those holes are perfect"
"Yeah, we came out together. She was so kind to me. We were the first ones, the rest was too late. We spent months together, talking to eachother, playing games with eachother, having fun. It was really nice, until they came to pick us up. Jasper and I were assigned to different diamonds. She had to go to Pink Diamond and I went to White Diamond. I haven't seen her since then..." Obsidian sighed, but then turned to see Peridot and Amethyst stare at her in complete horror.
"You... Were friends with her?" Amethyst asked.
Obsidian walked backwards slowly. "Y-yes...?" she mumbeled, realising she had made a huge mistake.
"Guys, calm down! It wasn't her fault that she came out of the earth together with Jasper. That could have happened to the two of you too! Please don't hurt her for that simple fact"
"He has a point" Peridot said to Amethyst.
"Yeah, whatever. So, what's bad about this hole?"
"Let's see..." Peridot tried to climb into the hole, but she failed, because she was too small. Steven helped her and then Peridot started to look what was bad about the hole.
Obsidian sighed, but didn't say what she already know. The hole was perfect, and after a lot of Peridot's mubeling, the green gem saw it too. The hole was perfect, and because of that, Jasper was the ultimate soldier.
"Well, it's perfect, actually" Peridot said, and then she continued too say why it was so perfect, but again, Obsidian didn't listen. She already knew that Jasper and her hole were perfect.
