"One question" Jasper said. "Where am I going to live?"
"Well, I had the idea to build a small house somewhere" Obsidian said. "If you don't mind"
"Good idea" Jasper said. "Do you have a place where we can build it?"
"You can build it next to the temple" Steven said. "Right, Garnet?"
"But-" Pearl said
"Good idea" Garnet interrupted her. "To the nearest warp pad!"
"To the nearest warp pad!" Amethyst and Pearl responded.
"Yeah, let's go" Obsidian said.
The five Gems ran to the warp pad and warped to the temple, leaving Lapis and Peridot behind.
Lapis sighed. "Well, at least she isn't going to live here anymore"
"Yeah. Come, shall we watch Camp Dining Hearts season four again?" Peridot asked. "Season four is really good"
"Yeah, let's go"
At the temple
"We're here!" Pearl said, when they arrived in the temple.
Jasper looked around. "It's kind of messy" she said
"Yeah, I'll need to clean it up again. I was busy"
"With what? Dancing?" Amethyst said.
"No" Pearl walked to a some kind of door and opened the door to her room. She then walked in.
"So..." Obsidian said. "Where can we build our house?"
"I know a place" Steven said. "Come with me"
Steven walked out the front door and Obsidian and Jasper followed him.
After a few minutes, they arrived at a car wash.
"Hey, dad! Are you here?" Steven called out.
A man with long, brown hair appeared.
"Hey Steven" he said. "You have some new friends with you?"
"Yeah. This is Obsidian and this is Jasper"
The man looked at Jasper. "Hey, I know you. You were on the ship, when you tried to take Lapis. It was your fault I had to buy it. And you nearly killed my son, poofed Garnet and then fought with her again"
"Uhhh..." Jasper said. "I know, but I've changed. Since I found Obsidian, I really have. Please give me a chance"
"Yeah. If you keep on hating her, you can go ahead. But then I'll hate you too" Obsidian said.
"Calm down. I'll give her another chance" the man said.
"Thank you, mister... Umm..."
"Universe. Greg Universe. Steven here is my son. But, Steven, for what did you come here?"
"I need some land" Steven said. "They want to build a house, because the temple and the barn are full, and I think they won't like to sleep in the sand or on the grass or something like that"
"Oh, you can hop in my van, I'll take you to a place"
"Okay. Let's go to the van" Steven said.
"One question" Jasper said as they walked to it. "What's a... Van?"
"This is my van" Greg said.
"And... How does it work? I see nothing to start it with"
"I'll show you. Sit down there" Greg pointed at the passenger seat.
Jasper sat down and Obsidian jumped on her lap. Steven, Greg and the two Gems smiled.
Steven liked Obsidian, and he started to like Jasper too. She was quite friendly once you got to know her, but Lapis would probably hate her forever. Literally.
After a few minutes, the van stopped, next to a forest.
"I can't drive here, so we'll need to walk a few minutes. I hope you'll like the place" Greg said.
They went out of the van and walked to the forest. What they saw in there, was something they could never image.
"Is this really for us?" Obsidian asked.
"Yeah, you can live here" Greg answered.
"Thank you so much!"
"It's fine. Come, Steven, let's go home"
"Okay, dad. I'll come visit you later!"
"Bye, Steven!" Jasper and Obsidian said as they waved to him, the moment he and Greg walked away.
