Chapter 12: Corrupted Gems

I forgot to say this about the Scales: Fusions don't count.

Onyx and Zircon stood in front of eachother, not moving. Pearl was still trying to stop them, but they ignored her.
Suddenly Zircon turned and ran into the sea. She had ran away. Maby because she knew she couldn't beat Onyx. Maby she was just a distraction. Who knows?
Onyx unfused. Jasper immediately tried to catch Zircon, but she was already gone.
"Well... That was weird" Obsidian said.
"Obsidian, Jasper, come! We need your help with a mission now!" Pearl exclaimed.
"What kind of mission?" Obsidian asked.
"Jasper had Corrupted Gems in cages, remember? We are going to search for them, but we'll need her help, she might know where they went"
"Okay. I'll go get her" Obsidian walked to the warrior. She was staring at the sea.
"Hey..." Obsidian said, while she put her hand on Jasper's shoulder. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. I was just wondering why she would attack me" Jasper answered
"I don't know. Maby she hated you?"
"Everyone except for you hates me"
"That's not true. Steven likes you"
"Indeed. But why are you here?"
"We are going on a mission. If you want to"
"What kind of mission?"
"To find and bubble the Corrupted Gems from the beta Kindergarten"
"Yeah, sure. Seems fun to me. Let's go" she turned and walked to the home of Steven and the Crystal Gems.
When they arrived, all of the Gems and Peridot warped to the Kindergarten.

"We're here!" Pearl exclaimed.
All of them looked around. Nothing had changed. Most of the holes still looked as pathetic as before, except for the holes of Jasper and Obsidian, they still looked perfect.
"Hey, J, do you still fit?" Obsidian asked.
"I think so" Jasper jumped up and walked in it. "Yep, I still fit" she said. She then came out of it. "And what about you?"
"Wait a second" Obsidian climbed into her hole. It was perfect for her. "Me too. Hey, remember when I came out? I fell, but you caught me"
"Yeah, I do. But anyways, let's go"
"Okay"
When they came out of it, the others were already gone. According to the screams from monsters, they had already started bubbling them.
The two other Gems went to the others. Indeed, they had already started bubbling the Corrupted Gems.
Jasper walked to one of them and headbutted it. She then bubbled in an orange bubble it and moved to the next one.
Obsidian just stayed where she was and shot them down, after about five of them she bubbled their Gems and went on like that.
"Oi, J! How many did you collect?" Obsidian asked.
"About two hundred, why?" Jasper answered.
Obsidian grunted. "Why so many?"
"I don't know. I needed an army. By the way, about ninety percent of the Corrupted Gems I put underground"
"Well, let's go there then"
"Sure"
"Oi, Garnet, Amy, P-dot, Pearl! We're going underground!"
"Sure!" Amethyst said. "We'll handle this!"
"See ya!" Obsidian turned at Jasper. "Lead the way"
"Sure thing" Jasper turned to one of the biggest holes. "Follow me"
Both of them walked into the hole. It led to a spiral staircase.
"There are five floors. The last one is the biggest, we'll do that together. I'll do one and three, can you do two and four?" Jasper said.
"Okay. Let's go then"
They went to the floors and started to clear out the Corrupted Gems.

I'm not going to describe this, because it's boring, the story continues when both of them arrive on the last floor, but that comes next chapter.
