Chapter 20: Sister

Obsidian slowly opened her eyes. She looked around to see the other Gem looking at her, with a smile on her face.
"You're finally back" the other Gem said.
"Yeah... Took me a long time, though. I couldn't find you" Obsidian said as she stood up.
"It's good to have you back"
"It's good to see you too, sis"
The other gem chuckled. "After all those years, you still see me as your sis?"
"Yeah, we have been friends for so long, you're like a sister to me"
"Yeah... Sis"
"But anyway, I need to go to Jasper. She's probably worried sick about me"
"So you did it? She's yours now?"
"I guess you can call it that, yes. But are you coming?"
"I'm afraid I can't go"
"Why not?"
"Remember what happened about four thousand years ago?"
"Let me think..." Obsidian put closed her eyes and opened them a few seconds later again. "I remember and understand" she said. "But... Are you really unable to come?"
"Yeah, they'll shatter me if I show my face there"
"True. But still, it's really good to see you back. I missed you, sis"
"I missed you too, sis. But you'd rather get going then, you know Jasper. She'll probably do something stupid"
"True. But still, I trust her more than anyone else. Except for you, then"
"And if you ever need me" the other Gem started.
"Just use the necklace" they both finished.
"And I'll stay here for some time, too" she said.
"See ya then"
They hugged eachother and Obsidian walked to the Warp Pad. She warped to the Communication Hub, and there she saw Jasper sitting miserably on the ground, Steven trying to cheer her up.
Obsidian walked to Jasper and put her arms around the warrior's neck.
Jasper looked up and saw Obsidian. "How did you get back?" she asked.
"Well... I was floating in that... Place. But then, I suddenly landed on a Warp Pad. It was the battlefield's. I then recovered and warped here, where I found you" Obsidian walked to Jasper's other side and hugged her from the other side.
Jasper hugged her back and tried to kiss her on the cheek, but Obsidian turned her head, so it landed on her lips.
Both of them widened their eyes, but closed them then and what started as an accident, turned into a deep, passionate kiss.
Steven was watching akwardly, decided they needed some private time and walked to the other Gems.
"Is Obsidian already back?" Pearl asked.
"Yep" Steven answered. "But leave them alone for a second"
"Why?" Amethyst asked, who had already turned at them, just like Pearl.
"Oh" both of them said and they looked back, both blushing deeply. Gems usually didn't act like that. That was more a human thing.
Garnet already knew what was going on, because of her future vision, however, she was smiling. She was starting to like Obsidian and Jasper, they reminded her of Ruby and Sapphire in some ways. Jasper was more like Ruby, Obsidian like Sapphire. Well, not totally, but Garnet liked to compare Obsidian and Jasper to herself. She didn't know why, she just found it fun.
Garnet shook her head. "Everyone, we were supposed to look for that weird green Gem, not doing other things!" she called out.
Obsidian and Jasper blushed and stood up. They then walked to the Crystal Gems.
"Sorry" Obsidian said, rubbing the back of her head. "I got carried away"
"Yeah, me too" Jasper said, her face still a bit red.
"Doesn't matter" Garnet said. "Happens to others too. But anyway, let's move on"

Aaaand here I remember the Warp Pad of the Communication Hub was broken. Sorry everyone, but can you please just imagine it wasn't? *Big puppy eyes*
With that out of the way, I hope you like this chapter more than the last one. I know, you all want to know who that mysterious Gem is, but you'll find out soon (I think)
And one more thing, I want you to know (little late (whoopsies)) that there isn't going to be any lemon in this book, because I want this to be appropriate for all ages.
There will also be ho more chapters today, I'm travelling home, that will take up the entire day, maby I'll write something while driving, idk yet
