Stay With Me (Steven Universe / Jasper Fanfic) (Completed)

Chapter 5: The past

Suddenly, she started to turn back to normal. Jasper stood up and looked at everyone, but suddenly, something hit her. It was Obsidian, hugging her tightly, while she cried tears of happiness.
Jasper couldn't help but smile too and but her arms around the body of the smaller Gem.
Steven smiled proudly, glad he could help, but Amethyst and Peridot looked a little annoyed, because both of them didn't like the warrior, but somehow, they knew it couldn't be helped. Jasper was going to be together with Obsidian, and since she was going to live in the barn, Jasper probably would too.

"So..." Steven said after a few minutes.
"Oh, yeah, wait for a second" Jasper said as she let go of Obsidian. Obsidian did the same.
Jasper turned at Amethyst and Steven. "Well, Rose, thank you for saving me. And Amethyst, I'm sorry for making you feel worthless. I'm sorry dor everything I did. It was just for revenge. But, Rose, I won't hurt you anymore. I will not hurt any of you again. Well, I'll try to, at least"
"Yeah, sure, whatever" Amethyst said, but she seemed more happy.
"And one thing" Steven said. "My name is Steven, Rose was my mother. But I have her gem"
"What's a mother?" Obsidian asked.
"Umm... I'll explain it later, but we'd rather go back"
"Sure"

Steven, Amethyst and Peridot went to the warp pad and warped back to the barn, but Obsidian decided to stay for a few more minutes, they had to talk, because they hadn't seen eachother for more than ten thousend years.
They sat down on a rock and looked at the red coloured rocks.

"So..." Jasper started. "What have you been doing for all these years?"
"Well..." Obsidian begun "You remember when Pink Diamond chose you and White Diamond me, right?"
Jasper nodded.
"In the start I was quite sad. I really missed you. But after a few weeks I got used to living there. It was quite nice, actually. The gems were friendly, White Diamond didn't make me do stupid things, because she understood me. I still don't quite understand her. But who could understand a Diamond? Except for a Diamond, that is. But I need to move on. Do you remember about seven thousend years ago, when the rebellion started?"
Jasper nodded again.
"Well, White Diamond went to check it out, but she was poofed. I don't know if she was bubbeled or shattered, but it doesn't matter right now. Of course, everyone was devastated. I went away, to Earth and there I met Rose. She was so kind to me, I immediately wanted to be friends with her, so I joined the rebellion. Not long after, a Pearl joined. The Pearl hated me, because she was in love with Rose. I didn't know what to do, so I acted like I acidentally poofed Rose and then did the same to myself. It wasn't an accident, Rose even told me to do it. And then, well, about five hours ago, I woke up and I think you know the rest. So, your turn"
"Okay. So, I was-" Jaspers started, but she was interrupted by Amethyst, who came running to them.
"Jasper! We need your help!" she called out.
"What? Why?"
"Just come with me"

I have to say something, by the way. I'm writing this story because I HATED what happened to Jasper in the original series. She was my favourite character and they destroyed her. So, I'm writing this =P
