Chapter 15 already! This is literally the first time I'm this far with a story. I hope you still like it! I still like writing it, in each case.
Okay, enough blabbing, enjoy!
Jasper put the headphones down and walked to the door. Through the small glass a shade of blue could be seen. She immediately thought about Zircon, so she walked to the window, climbed out of it, and two seconds later she had her hand on the throat of the blue Gem as she pressed her against the wall.
Too bad, it wasn't Zircon, but Lapis.
Lapis used the water of the small lake to smash Jasper against a tree. "What do you think you're doing?!" she shouted at Jasper, who stood up.
"Sorry, I thought you were Zircon"
"Who is that?"
"The one who kidnapped Obsidian, Steven, Garnet, Amethyst, Peridot and Pearl. I'm trying to get them back"
"By sitting on your couch and listening to music?"
"That wasn't music. Come in and listen if you want to"
"Sure"
They walked in and sat down. Jasper put the headphones on Lapis' head roughly and after that, she plugged in another one. "Don't get me wrong, I still hate you" Jasper said. "I just want to save Obsidian and the rest"
"Shush" Lapis said, while she hit Jasper on the head. "This is important"
"Why you..." Jasper said, but her eyes widened as she put the headphones on her head.
Back to Obsidian and Zircon, a little earlier...
Zircon walked to a wall and knocked on it. With a loud creaking sound, it opened.
Inside were cages (the same ones as in 'Jailbreak', the last episode of season one), but one of the cages, the one in the back, was with metal bars. Steven was in that one. He looked like he was hurt very badly.
When Obsidian and Zircon came in, he looked up. "Obsidian!" he called out.
"Steven?" she asked.
"How touching" Zircon said. "NOT! SO SHUT UP!" she then smacked her fist against a button. It opened the cage next to Steven's. She pushed Obsidian in and closed it again. "I'm going to prepare stuff, later" Blue Zircon said.
When she was gone, Obsidian stood up. "We're doomed" she said to nobody in particular.
"Yep" Steven responded.
Okay, let's go back to where we left Jasper and Lapis...
The two Gems were looking at the device, their heads close to eachother. Jasper was looking for a clue where to find Obsidian and worrying about her, while Lapis just wanted to stay close to Jasper. She hated to admit it, but was madly in love with the warrior. The problem was: if she told anyone, they'd laugh at her, because everyone thought she hated her. She wanted nobody to know it, so she acted like she hated her.
Lapis sighed sadly.
"Is anything wrong?" Jasper asked.
"No, nothing" Lapis said quickly.
"Yes, there is something wrong. What is it?"
"If I told you, you'd only laugh at me"
"No, I won't. You can trust me. I promise. Obsidian changed me"
'Always Obsidian' Lapis thought. 'I don't have a chance against somebody as great as her'
"Are you going to tell me?" Jasper asked.
Lapis shrugged and sighed again.
"You love me, isn't it?" Jasper looked at the Gem next to her.
Lapis nodded.
"I knew it. Sorry, but we actually have no time for this. We need to find the rest of the Gems"
"I understand..." Lapis said, but she wanted to talk after keeping it a secret for so long. She did understand that Obsidian was very important to Jasper, so she'd help find her.
