What can I tell you?

"I hate whoever is at the door." Stevie said, her eyes still focused on Lindsey's, as she wanted to pull back, but he kept her in place.

"They can wait."

Touching the side of her face with his palm, his fingers sliding into her hair a little, he brought them closer, tilting his head to one side, pressing their lips together at last. She didn't want to, but she let out a moan at the contact, gripping his wrist with one hand, as she parted her lips, feeling his tongue brush against hers. Again and again... She also felt his free hand slip inside of her robe, as she pushed her chest out, lifting herself up off the mattress, wanting to straddle him, but...

"Lindsey? Are you in here?"

Stevie broke the kiss, sighing in frustration at the sound of Carol's voice, who appeared in the doorway almost as soon as Stevie pulled away from Lindsey.

"Oh, Stevie..." Carol frowned a little, trying to quickly mask it. "What are you two up to? Why didn't either of you answer the door?" She asked, thinking to herself just how flustered they looked, the fact Stevie was barely dressed didn't go unnoticed as well.

Lindsey was fast with his answer. "We were just... working on a song. Trying to figure out a melody." He showed to his guitar, which was thankfully still on the bed beside him. "We didn't hear the doorbell."

"That explains it." Carol breathed out easier, slightly smiling as she said. "Did you forget I was coming over today?"

"I, uh... no. I guess, I just lost track of time."

"Excuse me." Stevie finally spoke, not wanting to be a part of this at all. She didn't even look at the other woman, walking by her out of the room.

"Did I say something wrong? She seemed upset." Carol questioned, approaching Lindsey, as she sat down next to him, but he didn't bother greeting her in any, more intimate form.

"I don't believe anything is wrong." Lindsey shook his head, getting up on his feet. "But I'll go check, just in case. I'll be right back."

Lindsey saw Stevie's door closed, so he knew she was in there, but he didn't knock, opening it, as he found her standing by the window, arms crossed over her chest. She didn't turn to look at him. Somewhat carefully, he came up to her, placing his hands on her hips, lowering his head to plant a kiss on her slightly exposed shoulder.

"What was that in there?"

"What was what? Nothing happened." Stevie acted as if she didn't understand what he meant.

"You really are jealous, huh?" He asked and from the sound of his voice, she knew he was smirking. "She can't hold a candle to you."

"Then why do you keep seeing her?"

Taking a deep breath, then letting it out, Lindsey did that just to prolong the pause. He loved this impending cat fight over him. "I don't know. Why do you keep seeing Don?"

"Lindsey." She warned, but did nothing to stop his hands from wandering.

"Well, what else can I tell you? I didn't know you were interested in me." He replied simply, his fingers letting the sash of her robe loose, parting it.

"So, now that you know... You're going to tell her to fuck off?" Laughing lightly, he made her turn around, gulping at the sight of her completely naked, although, getting to enjoy it for a split second, as Stevie closed her robe again. "You don't get to look at me, before you answer me."

"And why would I tell her to fuck off? Okay, while Don is on the road with his band, we'll fuck like mad, but once he comes back? What happens then? I'll have to ask her to forgive me or find myself someone new?" Crossing his arms, Lindsey raised a valid point.

Stevie scoffed, breaking their eye contact briefly, leaning back against the windowsill. "What do you want from me then? You asked me this yourself, before she came here, if this would just be a sex thing. All of a sudden, you want more? God knows why..."

What do I want? Lindsey asked himself, she was right. Where the hell was this coming from?

Not wanting to answer that particular question, Lindsey steered the conversation in the direction he wanted. "Would you honestly be alright sharing me with her? Something tells me you don't like that. Sort of, what's yours is yours." He challenged, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, I don't think you'd even want her anymore, once you had a taste of me." Stevie shot back, avoiding answering his question as well.

"Oh, I would definitely like to have a taste of you." He said, licking his lips.

"Yeah, well, it's a shame." She tried to remain calm, suddenly, feeling a tingling sensation in between her legs, knowing very well that he had the upper hand this time. "Why don't you just go to your girlfriend and use her for whatever you'd like to experience with me. Maybe, if you shut your eyes and try hard, it will be my face occupying your mind and not hers."

"I absolutely will do that." Lindsey said, causing Stevie to grit her teeth.
