Dear piece of paper,
There's only one of you, so I can't call you "diary." Maybe I'll craft you a friend, but there's not a lot of sugarcane here in the ice plains biome.
My name is Alexandra, but my friends call me Alex. At least, they would if I had friends.
I live alone in a cabin, and I like it that way. I mean, I like the cabin and I like being alone. Cabins are good at keeping out the cold. People are noisy, messy, and demanding, so I avoid them. There are not too many people in this biome anyways. Perfect.
I designed this cabin myself. It's built out of spruce. There are lots of small spruce trees here. I like them because they smell nice and they don't talk. The cabin is a perfect square with a sloped roof and a ladder, so I can stand on the roof and get a good view. Not that there's much to see. Mostly snow. Can you believe it? An ice biome with snow?
Just kidding. Of course you can believe it.
Inside, my cabin is cozy, just big enough for all my things: bed, furnace, crafting table and a few chests. It also has two windows. The windows aren't really for looking out because the only thing to see is snow, remember? But the light lets me know when it is day or night.
When I first came here, I just lived in a small hole in the ground. I felt like a rabbit. A cold, hungry rabbit. Well, except the ears. I have normal-sized ears, thank you very much.
I also didn't sleep for the first week because I didn't have a bed. I must have looked like a zombie at the end of the week, I was so tired. Maybe that's why I didn't have any problems with hostile mobs. They thought I was one of them.
The bed story is a little complicated, so I'll tell you later.
Another thing about my cabin is that the carpet is brown. As soon as I get some dye, it won't be, but the only sheep I've seen so far have been brown. So, brown carpet.
The sun is going down now, so I'm going to light the furnace and then go to bed. It's important to stay warm here.
Maybe I'll tell you that bed story tomorrow, maybe not. You're a paper, not a person, so you can't be demanding stories from me every day.
Goodnight.
Alex
