Dear family of papers,
Now do you understand how awful that meeting was? I met a boy! Steve. And he was a jerk. After meeting him, I was almost happy to go back into the Nether.
I made it back to the village portal without a problem. It took a while to find, but I didn't attack any mobs, and they didn't attack me. I was still angry though. If I had met any mobs, I would have sliced them to pieces!
I wasn't any happier when I got back to the village. Plus, I was hungry again. That was Wednesday afternoon. I did just what I told you I did: dug up some random food from the villagers' farms, left the gold nuggets as payment, and left the next morning.
Now, finally, I'm back at my own cabin where no one can bother me. No villagers. No Steve. Not even Molly.
I was going to tell you about the food I got, right? Well, I still feel kind of bad for taking it from the villagers, but I paid them a fair price. None of that nonsense with green gems.
As it turns out, I picked up potatoes, carrots, and beetroots. I even got beetroot seeds! And a poison potato. I don't know what that is, but I'm not going to eat it. Maybe I'll give it to Steve if I ever see him again.
Today I was going to try to plant the beetroot seeds and maybe a carrot and potato. I would love to have more food besides bread and soggy mushrooms.
I still have that saddle too. I put it in my chest for now, but maybe I should start searching for a horse? That would be really awesome if I could ride a horse.
I'll tell you if I find one.
Alex
