- August 15th ~ 11:36am -
- Wayway Cinema ~ Theatre right side -Me and Lily both waited until Ms. Raine and Aya had arrived at the shop and then proceeded to walk into the crime scene. "It's odd thinking I was here, today in fact, watching Blue Space Moon." My sister says.
"You were on the other side of the Theatre though, correct?" I question her and she nods.
"I sure was! I wasn't even aware of the fact Aya and Arena were here too, although it's understandable I don't think they would want to tell me their date plans." My lively sibling concludes. "Plus... I'd probably hide out with my camera watching, like last time." She mutters.
We walk over to the very end of the tenth row, Ms. McGreen's corpse is in the uncomfortable looking chair. Her head is leant forwards with her ocean blue hair covering most of her face. On the back off her neck, and the front (the umbrella went though the back of her neck and pieced the front of it) is a deep circular hole that rather a substantial amount of blood falling down it. Her white dress is completely stained red, can't say it was a pleasant death. Then again death isn't ever pleasant.
"Where's the murder weapon?" Lily asks me whilst examining the body.
"It was taken off to the forensic lab, it was found sticking out of the victims neck." I fill in the details.
"Hmm..." She twirls her dark brown hair with a look of concentration on her face. "Do you have a motive?"
"We do in fact." Just as I'm about to tell my sibling the motive Detective Leslow storms over.
"Sorry we can't tell you that, Ms. Shield." The Detective shakes his head in disappointment. "You should know that, Prosecutor. This is a valid piece of information we can't just let the Defence know what it is."
"And you think you a mere lowlife Detective can tell someone such as me how to do my job!?" I clench my hand into a fist.
"R-Robbie... Calm down, p-please I'm sure the Detective just wanted to be professional!" Lily seems frightened. She must be on edge because Arena is the defendant.
I unclench my hand. "I want you away from me and my sister for the rest of this investigation."
"During a trial and the investigation process before it there are no such thing as family, everyone is their own person." The Detective says and walks closer to Lily. "You have both failed at such an easy task. Now take a quick look at the crime scene, Ms. Shield do you see anything you need to note?"
Lily looks closer at the body. "No, nothing." With the weapon missing I can understand why she's saying this.
"Ah... Good." The Detective also gets closer to the body and I seem him pull out a bottle with a blue solution in it, looks a bit like that powerful blood detection spray they use occasionally. It's powerful and hard to get ahold of, so isn't used often. Why does he have it?
"My apologies I'm just going to spy the corpse with this ZE-4 spray." He starts spraying it on the body, with much more then he needs. Lily quickly turns away but it isn't any use she begins to double over as she tears start to fall down her now pale face and she coughs. I rush over to her frantically, stroking her back as she takes several pained gasps of air between coughs.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SISTER!!" I yell at Leslow as my sister starts to fall, in response I catch her not once taking my glare away from that idiot.
"What do you mean? All I did was spray ZE-4 spray, maybe she's just over reacting to get off this case." Detective Leslow smirks as he says this. He knew... He knew about her Raviolitus (her illness, to anyone who doesn't know).
"Why you, little...!!" I yell at the Detective who shrugs.
"It isn't my fault if she thinks faking some kind of illness will get her off the case." He begins to walk away. "Such a pity, I had high hopes for her."
"... I don't care about t-this, I-I'll be in that Court R-Room tomorrow, just you w-wait and see...!" My sister says though pants.
"Hump, I have nothing more to say and I have finished my investigation. See you around," His last word is say in a very cold tone in compression to all the rest. "Shields." And with that he's gone and not even a second later three people I recognise come storming though the door.
"B-Big Brother, Big Sis!" As soon as Aya bolts into the room she cries out to us. Quickly seeing Lily in my arms she rushes over.
"Lily...!!" Sky also rushes over, as for Kyo, she looks chilled as can be. Nothing phases this girl, does it?
Aya nuzzles her sisters cheek (which is quite adorable if you ask me, WHAT I CAN FIND THINGS CUTE Y'KNOW) whilst mumbling 'you'll be okay, you'll be okay' about a hundred times. Sky looks at his... Partner with a concerned look as he holds her hand.
"W-why are you all fussing so much? I'm f-fine... This is nothing." We have a perfectly valid reason for worrying to say the least.
"You were kept in hospital for two weeks the last time this happened." Sky answers as he continues to gently stroke my sister's hand.
"I-I don't want that to happen again... S-so don't worry, A-Aya will make sure you're okay!" Aya forces a smile in which she gets one in return from the Defence Attorney in red.
"I'm fine." The Attorney whispers.
I shake my head. "If you were fine you would be up on your feet, can you do that?" She averts her eyesight away from everyone and from that reaction my suspicion has been proven.
"So you can't walk?" Sky puffs out his chest. "No need to worry, fair maiden. As I, Sky Amaya your personal Knight in Shining Armour will personally carry you all the way back to the office."
The brunette in my arms giggles. "Oh, really~?" And within not even a second Sky had picked her up from my arms and started walking off with her bridal style (with him blushing a rather dark shade of red, of course).
"What do you think you're doing, young man...!"
And with that the day drew to a close, little did we know at the time getting involved with this case would lead to one of our greatest downfalls.
