The gentle drops descend on the soil,

soaking it with it's softness,

it's tingling the grains;

tingling the senses

of the admirer,

filling him up with the unknown feeling,

it's calming, yet exciting,

it's idyllic, yet hellish.

Petrichor to enter your senses,

and to leave you bewildered,

it's a strange feeling;

nostalgic and expectant at the same wistfully

cheerful moment,

but most importantly,

it's a sense to cherish for life.
