We walked out the house, and jack opened the car door for me.

"My lady." He said in a cheesy voice. I giggled and stepped in the car

"Why thank you sir." I replied. He shut the door and got into the drivers seat. He started driving and put his phone on shuffle. Swap it out by Justin Bieber came on the radio.

"Open up to me, it's all you gotta do. Give me all your heart, I'll swap mine out with you" Jack sang along with the radio. I smile a little and looked out the window and began playing with my necklace. After small talk, we eventually pulled up to a familiar restaurant.

"Wait isn't this..." I started

"Where we went on our first date? Yup" he finished. He helped me out the car and we made our way inside, and sat at the exact table we sat at on our first date.

"How did you manage this.." I whispered. A smile just stood on his face and he shrugged. After the waitress took our orders, the owners came over to us.

"My jack!" The elderly woman yelled, kissing his cheek causing him to smile.

"Mama!" He yelled laughing. It was the name he had I guess given her.

"I see you brought the wife, how's the princess." The husband asked. He was referring to my cousin Sophia. Last time we were here, Jack told them she was our daughter.

"She's great. Big" I replied. I pulled my phone out and showed them a video of my bow one year old cousin singing her ABC's. They gushed over how perfect she was and how we should try for a boy.

"Working on it" Jack replied with a wink. I smirked slightly because if we kept up at the rate we were going, we were gonna have a child soon.

"Well enjoy your meal, it was amazing to see you again." They said. We smiled and thanked them and watched as they walked away.

"Cutest couple ever. Goals" I laughed. Jack just looked at me with this look that was seemingly unfamiliar to me. His eye twinkled slightly, and his eyes looked almost sad.

"What..?" I asked.

"You're gonna be my wife one day Lia.." He whispered. I felt my cheeks heat up, and felt my throat tighten.

"You're so sure...?" I asked. I could feel my eyes getting slightly teary

"I promise you. I'm going to make all of this up to you. You're the only person I want to spend my life with Lia.. Don't you realize that?" He asked. I blinked back the tears and just nodded.

"No tears. No tears" I said and forced myself to smile. I hated to think of what happened between us. Yes it happened, there's no denying that Jack cheated on me. But I feel like it shouldn't keep being brought up. The food soon came, and we began eating. Jack started joking around and things honestly felt normal again. After we were half way finished, We both fell silent for a moment, and then Sandcastles by Beyoncé started playing. Jack stood up and held his hand out.

"Come on." He said. I took his head and he led me to the dance floor. I laid my cheek against his shoulder and we just slowly moved with the music. I listened to the words, and I lost it. I started crying. I didn't sob, didn't choke or anything. It was more of a silent cry. I knew from this moment, that I really let everything go. I was here. With Jack. He held me closer, because it's almost like he knew I was crying.. I wiped my face and then a woman caught my eye. She was small, but had curves. Skin the same color as mine a tanned sun kissed glow that I had as well. She had a mess of long curly hair, she looked like me. A lot like me. Just older, not too much older though. She looked like she was about 33 years old. She had big brown eyes that were framed by curly lashes, and her smile, her smile looked eerily familiar to the one I constantly wore. The real deal breaker was the birthmark. I had a small one on my cheek, and she had the same exact one. She looked like she could be my mother honestly. I remembered when I asked my mom about my birth mom she said that my mom was allegedly really young when she had me. She left me on the church stairs and then from there I was taken to the orphanage, where I was then adopted. I must have stopped moving or something because Jack was starring at me.

"Lia whys wrong?" He asked. I scrunched my eyebrows up and looked up at him.

"That lady looks just like me. It's scary.." I whispered. He followed my gaze, and when he saw the woman, his face paled.

"Lia is that your mom?" He asked in disbelief. I looked up at him.

"I don't know who my mom is.." I said.

"It has to be her.. Come on." He said. I let him drag my arm and he led me through the crowd. Everything from that moment felt like a blur. He walked up to the lady, who was seated at a table with a man, who I'm guessing was her husband. There was a wedding ring on her finger and a baby in a car seat next to her.

"Excuse me.." Jack started. They both looked over at us and gave us friendly smiles.

"Hello.." She started. Up close, the resemblance was even scarier. Her husband must have noticed.

"My girlfriend had a question for you." Jack said. He must have been thrown off by the resemblance too.  She looked over to me and tilted her head to the side.

"What's up sweetie." She said. My mind was a swimming pool of thoughts.

"I love your wedding ring, and wanted to give my boyfriend the hint you know. Where did you get it?" I asked. Jacks face fell. She smiled and told us the name of the store.

"I'm sorry I didn't catch your names." She said.

"I'm Jack, and this is my girlfriend Lia" he said. Her face suddenly changed and so did her husbands.

"Well I'm Alicia.. This is my husband Michael nice to meet you." She said.

"You too." Jack said before dragging me off. He paid for the bill and helped me into the car.

"What's on your mind?" He asked.

"That's my mom. She has to be. I'm going find out" I said.
