Algebra, my enemy, my weakness, I might be able to work magic but I definitely can't find y-intercept of a graph. I sit in the third seat back of the second row near some people I talked to on occasion. As I turned to ask one of them how there summer was there it was again, the feeling, goosebumps all over and a shiver going down my spine, I am nearly paralyzed in fear. I turn to look at the door and see the most beautiful man I have ever seen in my life, wavy blonde hair, long but not too long, blue eyes like a mossy pond in the middle of the night.
He sits in the back on the opposite side of the room and looks at me and smirks, I felt as if Lucifer had looked me in the eyes. A shiver runs down my spine and I quickly turn and look at my desk, hiding my embarrassment and fear.
The teacher walked in saying nothing until he grabbed a stack of papers and handed it to the first student he saw.
"Take one and pass them around" he said in a monotone voice
As they pass the papers around the stack comes to me and I grab one but there is an issue. On the bottom corner of the paper written in red ink in bold letters it said "You're not fooling anyone." I pass the papers in nonchalantly and pretend nothing happened.
The rest of the class goes completely normal other than the itching question who wrote it. I looked at the teacher desk and saw no red pens in sight, only a red sharpie which was not the tool used to write this. At the end of class I grabbed my bag and headed out the door when I heard a scream. I ran down the hall toward the shriek to find people surrounding a row of shattered yet still intact.
In the front of the crowd is that guy, the beautiful creature who gives me mystery, fear, and lust. He smirks and walks away, disappearing into the crowd. As everyone begins to flee the crime scene I notice the janitors closet is slightly open and I walk over and open the door and see Lee hiding in the corner. I close the door behind me and walk over to Lee in a hurry, worried what happened.
"You ok?" I ask in the calming, nurturing voice.
"It came out of no where... the scream" they said shaking.
Sirens have the most beautiful singing voices but also the most piercing shrieks. I was instantly worried for our safety, knowing Stella's problem this morning and my little note first period.
"We will talk about it at lunch but now we have to get to class or they will have are ass." I say in a caring yet funny time to lighten the mood.
I help them up and check if the coast is clear as we leave. We walk out and head to out next class.

It's finally lunch and I have never been so relieved, half way through the day and already exhausted. It's not long before I see Monroe and Kyle at the front of the line with there stuff and I watch them head outside to where we usually sit, at a park bench beside a nice shady tree in the outside lunch area. As soon as I get my lunch I head out and see Monroe and Kyle sitting with Lee, Vanessa, and Stella. I walk over and take the last open seat by Monroe.
"What's up my bitches." I say in a cheerful tone even though everyone was clearly worried about today's events.
Monroe broke the silence and said "So last night I found out I was more flexible than I thought I was."
"I knew that wasn't sunscreen in your hair." I said laughing
She leaned over and kissed Kyle but not soon after he backed away with a bloody lip and said "Kinky, save that for later." But she was not amused as she covered her mouth.
"Monroe what's wrong?" I asked in a concerned tone and she uncovered her mouth and her fangs were protruding from her gums.
"I don't know what the fuck happened." Just as she said that I chills down my spine and I looked behind me and saw him a few yards away. He started walking away behind the school but I jumped up and ran after him. I caught up with him near the loading dock behind the school and pushed him up against the wall and said
"What the fuck are you doing to my friends?"
He looked me in the eyes and smirked, his beauty would have overwhelmed me if I wasn't as angry as I was.
"Something you can do nothing about." He said in a smooth as butter British accent. I had never heard him speak before but when I did my knees were weak and he took advantage of that to push me away.
"You hide your abilities when you should embrace them, along with your friends. Why should we be scared, we are superior and could easily take over." He said in that voice that made my heart beat fast.
"Who are you?" I asked in a weak, shaky voice.
"My names Maddock Steele." He said as he was about to walk away and he put his lips on my ear and whispered in the most seductive tone "Come find me when you wanna join the dark side." And walked back into the school through the back entrance. I returned to my friends and they asked where I went and I had no words I stayed silent for the rest of lunch.
