Whatever It Takes

CAMILA
It was like the old times, where we just have our own little world, not minding about the world. Mani was happy enough to let us all stay for the night.
"My phone is blowing up, but I don't care. I missed Lauren too much to check on my phone." Dinah said throwing her phone in her purse.
"Mine actually died a few minutes ago because of notifications from instagram, but whatever." Ally said.
We were sprawled across the living room, eating pizza, drinking beer and wine. Well, they are. I can't drink.
"So how was childbirth, Lo?" Ally asked as Lauren scrunched up her face.
"Painful?" I asked curiously as she nodded her head.
"Girl." Lauren shook her head. "It's like period cramps, diarrhea, a broken pelvis, and a hangover all together." She explained. "Times a hundred."
"Fuck." I mumbled.
"I don't think I ever want kids." Mani covered her face as Lauren laughed.
"But when you see your kid for the first time? And you see she has 10 fingers, 10 toes, heart beating, lungs working? Takes all the pain and suffering away." Lauren said looking at her sleeping child in her chest and kissing her head. "I'd gladly have more, to have that feeling of happiness again, you know?" She said tearing up.
"Then let's find you a man, Jauregui!" Dinah said as we all laughed.
"Not anytime soon." Lauren shook her head. "I have my hands full with this little one right here." She whispered, kissing her daughter again. She really loves Luna.
"Are you sure you don't want some wine, Mila?" Ally asked as she poured herself a glass.
"Yup. You know I'm not into drinking." I scrunched up my nose as Dinah looked at me. She's making me really nervous.
"Whatever Chanch." Dinah said rolling her eyes.
"Plug some movies, Moaney." I said as Mani walked to her Flat Screen. "Make it good, this is our first adult sleepover." I joked as Lauren gasped.
"Not when a child is here, please?" Lauren said laughing.
"Oh. No. That's not what I meant." I stuttered.
"Oh I know what you meant, Camila." Ally said smirking at me as I felt my face heat up.
"Mila, remember that time--"
"Mani, no." I stood up, lunging at Mani to stop her from talking. "No. That's between us." I said covering her mouth.
"What was it, Mani?" Dinah said, walking to us, getting my hands off of Mani's mouth. "what were you saying?" She covered my mouth this time, as I just sighed in Dinah's arms, not even fighting her off. I know I already lost.
"She was searching for--" Mani started.
"I don't want to hear this please?" Lauren said covering her daughters ears.
"I'll just text the link to the group." Mani said laughing while she put in a cd on the player. "And now, let us focus our attention on the screen."
Mani put in a series of Tour Videos since we started. Her mom put this together, with some of backstage footages, and some random videos Mama Dre shot of us. The videos were from 2013-2016, up until Lauren left. It made my heart fuzzy, and ached for those times we performed together. I miss performing with them.
