I know we're in New York, and the possibility of seeing Nick was big, but not after the years have passed. Not after he rejected being tested for Luna, and not after and not answering her mother and father's calls, begging him to just come and meet her daughter.
What's great about Nick's parents? They acknowledge Luna. I've known their family my whole life, and they know that Luna is theirs. They know I wouldn't lie to them. But ofcourse, their family is well off, and wanted to reassure if everything was true with a DNA test. Their excuse? For the inheritance she would be getting from her grandparents. The test is obviously positive, so her grandparents settled all the legal documents, putting money and whatever under her name.
As for Nick? Her girlfriend broke it off with him after discovering Nick and I's one night stand. Well, I was really sorry, and not wanting to break everything off, but I was really desperate for Luna's life. Nick hasn't contacted his parents. He was also cut off from everything money related from his parents. So it means no one was paying for his school. I felt bad for him, but that's what his dad's condition was. Get tested and help out with Luna, or he doesn't get anything. He chose to be stubborn and not acknowledge my daughter, and that is fine with me.
"Come on Luna. Let's get you out of here." I said carrying Luna who was not happy about leaving.
"Mommy. No. I wanna stay." She was kicking her legs as I held on her tighter.
"We need to go, Luna." I raised my voice as she freed herself from me, running to Camila. "I am not playing around Luna. We are leaving."
"I don't want to go. Leave me with Mama, please?" She was pleading, hiding behind Camila's legs.
"Luna. I'm serious. We need to go." I sighed, running my hand to my hair.
"I won't see Mama for a long time again. Please let me stay with Mama for a while. Please, Mommy."
"Luna. You need to leave. I'll call you as soon as you're both settled. You need to go home now." Camila said slowly, wiping away Luna's tears.
"But I don't want to go. I wanna stay with you. I don't want to stay with Aunt Lucy. I want to stay with you, Mama. Please? Please Mama." She was sobbing on Camila's arms, not wanting to let go.
"Why don't you want to stay with Lucy?" Camila asked curiously as I groaned in annoyance.
"Come on, Luna. Julio and will help you pack your clothes." Shawn said smiling at her sadly as Luna stomped her foot and screamed.
"No!" She screamed at us as I just remained calm and dialed Lucy's number. I know she isn't fond of Lucy, but she wouldn't act this way infront of her.

"Hey Luce!" I heard Dinah greet my girlfriend as we were seated in a restaurant.
"Hey guys." Lucy said walking to each girl, hugging and kissing their cheek. Well except for Camila. "Hey Camila."
"Hey." Camila answered back politely.
"Mommy, why is she here." Luna whispered on my ear quite loudly. I saw Camila snicker as Lucy rolled her eyes.
"Come on, Luna. Time to go." Lucy ignored Luna's statement as I stood up, getting all my things ready.
"Mama, please?" Luna walked to Camila, burying her face on Camila's neck. "Don't want to go."
