Whatever It Takes

CAMILA

Lauren was panicking. First, she didn't want people to know she was back. Second, she didn't want to let everyone know she's hanging out with Fifth Harmony. But most especially, she didn't want Luna to be part of this craziness. It's too late for that now.

"Nat posted it. She said she's sorry for causing every one trouble. Especially you, Lo." I whispered as Lauren has her head on her hands. Luna was silent in my arms, looking at her Mom.

"Oh my god." Lauren whispered as Ally walked to her and put her arms around the green eyed girl. "Wh- How?" Lauren said as I just looked down on Luna.

"Lauren, everything's going to be fine." Ally said.

"No. You don't understand." Lauren said her head still on her hands.

"Make us understand, Lo. What's on your mind." I said as she looked up at me. Her eyes, it was like begging for answers. Begging for things to just stop happening.

"I don't want Nick to know. I don't want people to push me on saying who the father is. Luna is mine. She's all mine." She was crying now.

"Lo, you know--" Dinah was interrupted by Lauren.

"I have to tell him? Yes I already know that. But do I want to ruin his life? He's perfectly happy with his girlfriend. I can take care of Luna on my own. I did it for 2 years, I can do it for 20 more." She said as I shook my head.

"Lauren, accept that you need help. God damnit Lauren. You need Nick. Luna needs Nick's freaking bone marrow. Can't you accept that she's half his too? I am not asking you to do this for me. Do this for your fucking kid." I stood up and put Luna on Lauren's lap. "You're scared of being a negligent mother? Don't think you're not doing it right now." I spat at her as I walked out of the dining room.

I know it's not right to do that to Lauren, but her reasoning is stupid. I'm getting mad, and it's not good for my health. I need to get back to New York to have a meeting with my manager and the label about my album. If Lauren doesn't want help, I don't know what to do anymore.

---

I was on the label's private plane with Nat. Oh Nat.

"Camila, I'm really sorry--"

"Let's not talk about the picture, okay." I sighed, not looking at her and focusing on the book I was reading.

"So when are you telling Shawn about you being pregnant?" She asked as I glared at her.

"Can't you mind your own god damn business?" I said angrily as she sighed beside me.

"You are my business, Camila, so I have to mind you. He's the father. Tell him." She said as I rolled my eyes.

"I'll tell him when I'm ready." I said softly.

"Ready? Ready to pop?"

"Can you stop? You harassing me about this isn't fair, Nat." I reasoned out.

"You know what's not fair? You not telling Shawn about his child. Don't be such a hypocrite telling Lauren to tell Luna's dad, and you clearly not doing the same."

---

We finally are in New York, and I feel like my head's on fire. It's not helping that I haven't eaten Lunch, and it's already 4.

"Do you want something to eat before we head to the studio, Mila?" Nat asked as I shook my head.

"I want my bed." I said groggily as we walked in the my apartment. Shawn was sitting in the living room.
