Whatever It Takes

Lauren

I woke up to music playing and the smell of eggs and maybe ham? And waffles? Last night was a blur. After we sang, we stuffed our selves with Wine, and I'm feeling the side effects of the glasses I've downed last night.

Luna wasn't beside me anymore, so I'm guessing she's already downstairs with Camila or Shawn. They've been pretty close too, and the past years, she has been spending time with Camz and Shawn when I had to tour with Carlos. There's no one I trusted more with my daughter than Camila Cabello, and she knows that.

Speaking of trust, Lucy didn't come to the party. It's no surprise. I mean, she really isn't fond of the whole Camila thing. She hates that Luna calls Camz Mama, and that I trust Camila more than her. She's my girlfriend, ofcourse I trust her, but when it comes to Luna? I don't think I trust her enough. She had her say about children, and not wanting kids in the future. That hurt me more than anything. But why am I still with her? Let's just say that she feels like home.

But sometimes, you have to move out of your house to see better opportunities, or to see better people. Puns intended.

"Good morning!" I greeted the full table as Julio ran to me, jumping to my arms.

"Goodmorning, Mama!" He said putting his head on the crook of my neck.

"Good morning, big boy." I said kissing his head and putting him down. "Hey baby girl. Why didn't you wake me up?" I kissed my daughters head as everyone in the table laughed.

"Ralph, no one would dare." Dinah said laughing as I rolled my eyes.

"That is actually true." Shawn laughed as I just sat down on a chair beside Luna and ate my breakfast as everyone laughed at me.

"Are you excited for today?" I looked at Julio as he nodded his head furiously.

"We're going to the zoo to see the lions, and the birds and the snakes!" Julio said excitedly as I smiled at him.

"You better finish your breakfast. Today's gonna be along day." Camila said as the little boy stuffed his face with food.

"Did Lucy come?" Shawn asked as I saw Camila roll her eyes. See? She knows Lucy hates her.

"She isn't even answering my messages. But it's Julio's birthday. She has to live for the fact that it's Julio's day." I shrugged my shoulders.

"Aunt Lucy said she's going to her apartment." Luna answered as she passed me her phone and showed me Lucy's message.

Auntie Lucia 🎹
Staying in my apartment tonight. Have fun with everyone, little one.

"She sends you a message, and not your Mom? Well, someone's in trouble." Normani giggled as I sighed shaking my head. I don't want to make a big deal out of it. Luna obviously likes Camila more. I don't want her hating on Lucy for hating on Camila. Does that make sense?

"Are you and Aunt Lucy fighting, Mommy? Does she not want to be with everyone?" Luna asked as I sighed again and massaged my temples. I am getting a bigger headache now.

"Remember I told you not to ask complicated questions to your Mom when she's hungover?" Camila whispered to Luna's ear as they both giggled. "Finish your breakfast."
