Adrian's POV:
I was relieved when she hugged me back and buried her head into the crook of my neck. I wanted to stay in this moment forever. It was nice...holding her.
"Isa!" I heard behind me, Megan.
Dammit! She ruined our moment!
"Are you okay?" She asked Isabella as I reluctantly let go of her.
Isabella continued fake smiling as she nodded, I handed her the first aid kit and smiled.
"Here, I grabbed it for you." I told her,
She looked relieved as she took it and nodded in appreciation before putting it in her bag. I really wanted to know what happened but I was sure Isabella wouldn't want to talk about it so I kept my mouth shut.
I wasn't letting her out of my sight again and Crystal and Jessica better not think they'll get away with this. I can't do anything considering I was a guy but I know girls who will. A smirk came to my face at the plan forming in my head.
We stopped at Isabella's locker so she could switch out her books, I was still worried whether or not she was okay. For all I know she could be lying to me and putting on a fake happiness.
"Do you know what happened?" I whispered to Megan,
"From what I heard one of them shouldered her to floor and they made fun of her then threw the fact that she had a first aid kit in her bag in her face." She explained,
"She obviously has some medical conditions, how the hell could they make fun of her for that? Bitches." I spat,
"The thing is though, Isabella was bullied a little bit back home so...being in that situation was probably a little too much for her handle."
I was surprised, Isabella was the most innocent and sweetest girl I've seen. How could someone bully her?
I walked her to class and continued with the day, after school came quickly. I was happy about it 'cause one I hated school and two I was excited to spend the rest of the day with Isabella.
"Okay, how about Isa ride with me to my house to drop my car off and Adrian you can follow us then we leave in your car? Since you insist on driving." Megan suggested,
I could hear the inner childish part of me yelling "noooooo."
"Or princess can ride with me." It wasn't a suggestion nor was I asking, it was a statement.
"That's-" She tried, but I cut her off.
"A great plan? Oh thanks! Wow, you're just so nice today! Inviting me out with you guys and now this? You're awesome, meet you at your house." I said quickly before grabbing Isabella's hand and heading toward my car.
When I looked Isabella was quietly laughing as I opened the passenger seat door for her, it made me wonder what her real laugh sounded like. It was probably the cutest laugh.
I started the car and began following Megan in a comfortable silence. At least until I broke it.
"Princess, can I ask you something?" I said, she nodded while turning towards me.
"Why didn't you stick up for yourself?" I said it in the softest voice possible so I wouldn't offend her, she looked like she was thinking about it before she began writing.
I couldn't even imagine her sticking up for herself, she seemed too innocent and sweet. Maybe her heart was so big that it made her harmless but that would make her vulnerable. And well...weak
I won't feed into it. She wrote,
"What do you mean?" I asked,
Forgive and forget. She explained,
