I was surrounded by the cold darkness. I rubbed my arms trying to create friction but no matter what I did I was still cold.
My feet automatically began walking straight not giving me time to think where I was going.
But I already know. I've been here so many times that the memories of this place brought tears to my eyes.
"No please." I cried stopping my footsteps.
The same laughter that I heard many times began. It wasn't just one or two people laughing but it sounded more like a crowd of people. And I knew that they were laughing at me.
My head began twitching and I brought up my hands to my head trying to stop it from twitching. My crying didn't decrease for a second.
"Freak." "Stupid bitch." "Why are you so slow!" "Stupid." "Cow." "Loser." "Loner." "Fatso." "fatty."
The same names, the same anger, I couldn't take it anymore. All the bullying needed to stop I needed to stop it.
"Please someone help me I can't do this alone." But I was alone.
I clenched my eyes and everything went quiet for a moment and then the voices became one voice and swam in my ears drowning me inside out.
"You're just a person full of hatred and despair the only way you can make this right is to do it."
I opened my eyes and looked down. A knife.
My tears made my eyes blurry but I knew it was a knife it's always a knife.
"Please help me." I whimpered shaking my head.
"I don't want to do it."
"YES YOU DO. THIS IS THE PATH YOU CHOOSE NOW DO IT."
I grabbed the knife and held it to my arm. I didn't want to do it but I deserve this...but why?
I closed my eyes and thought of something that will ease the pain something warm and bright like a warm fire.
"Skylar." I whispered.
"Skylar please help me." I screamed.
A warm hand covered my hand holding the knife and a soft warm hand caressed my face.
I opened my eyes and Sky was smiling at me making me feel warm everywhere. Staring at him made me less afraid.
"Sky."
"You are no longer alone. Not while I'm here. I promise."
He helps me up and embraced me throwing the knife away.
It was peaceful and warm. He pulls me away and leans his head in connecting our lips.
