I felt the warm morning sun on my face causing me to wake up. I surprising felt refreshed and happy.I haven't slept this well since...
I shook the memories away and got up to close to curtains. I turned around and notices a blue note on my desk next to my bed.
That wasn't there last night.
I walked towards it not removing my eyes from it and opened it.
(Meet me at this address when you are ready,
Sky. )
Sky?
Why didn't he just text me...oh I think I left my phone in his car and probably wants me to pick it up. I checked the address and saw that it was at Lisa's house.... I wonder why there. Maybe he left my phone with her.
I placed the note down and began getting ready. I picked out my favorite jeans and a black t shirt and my black converse.
I felt different. I checked myself on the mirror and I couldn't point it out but something was different.
I felt some what lighter, I touched my face and I noticed that my eyes looked less dull and if I looked closely I saw little gold specks in my eyes. Hm.. I've seen that before but I'm not sure where.
I then touched my tummy and I squeezed it. Well it's still there but is it weird that it doesn't bother me that much anymore.
As I'm about to leave my house I notice my mum at the table with her hands covering her face.
"Mom, Are you okay?"
She slowly uncovers her face and she nods her head giving me a tired smile.
"Work is really starting to catch up to me," She said not looking at me. "But I'll be fine."
"Are you sure? I'm heading out right now and I'll be back soon do you need anything while I'm out?"
She shook her head wiping away some dry tears. I felt uneasy seeing her like this but I can't do anything about it. She's just an adult stressed about work.
"I'm- I'm going to take a nap, mamas tired sweetie, have fun okay."
As I unlocked the door she called my name and I turned my head worried still plastered on my face.
"Make sure you love life okay. Because sometimes it can really put you down if you mistreat it."
With that she walks upstairs out of my sight. I closed the door double checking that I locked it. A sudden chill go up my spin and turned around checking my surroundings.
I could have sworn someone was watching me.
