Chapter 3

Vic's POV

Fuck. My first day at my new school and I was already late. I had picked up my two best friends Jaime and Tony and already had my littler brother Mike in the car with me. Of course it was just my luck that halfway to school the car broke down.

"Piece of shit" I swore at the car groaning and banging my head against the steering wheel.
"Vic say sorry! You've hurt its poor feelings now!" Mike yelled at me half serious half joking.
I couldn't help but to let out a chuckle.
"So does this mean we're skipping today?" Jaime asked with an eager look on his face.
"No Jaime. This means that were walking to school"
"Ugh but it's raining" he groaned
"Suck it up Jaime. I don't want to make a bad impression on the first day".
That was true. For some reason, my teachers at my old school hated me.
All 3 of our families had just moved here from San Diego but we all acted like one massive Mexican Family!
I have to admit. I do miss San Diego. The sun. The beaches. The hot guys.
Yes I said GUYS. I Vic Fuentes am gay!

Michigan wasn't as bad as I expected it to be and I had my friends with me!

**time skip to school**

It took us a good 20 minutes to walk to school in the rain. When we got there we were dripping wet and shivering. "What a great way to start my first day of school" I thought to myself.

We all somehow found our way to the office with no problems and all received our schedules.
"Hey what lesson has everyone got?" Tony asked
We all compared schedules and none of us were happy.
"Agh none of us have any lessons together expect music!" Jaime pouted.
"We'll never mind! Nothing we can do about it now" I sighed " I'll meet you guys at lunch yeah?" I asked.
I received a few nods and "yeahs" and with that I was on my way to my first class.
English.
Yay
Note the sarcasm.
I will be in a lesson which I completely hate with no one I know.
"Come on Vic" I said to myself. "Just grit your teeth and bare it"
I arrived at my class and knocked on the door.
I was greeted my the teacher who introduced himself as Mr Jasper.

"Hi I'm Vic Fuentes and I'm new here?" I said shyly to Mr Jasper
"Oh welcome Vic, now let me see you can sit next to - uh you can sit next to Kellin"
I looked around searching for this Kellin person. Of course this was a stupid idea seeing as though I didn't know who anyone was.
"That's Kellin, sat at the back in the corner" Mr Jasper pointed out for me.
I thanked him and started to slowly walk to my seat.
But the thing is, I couldn't stop staring at Kellin. He was drop dead gorgeous.
He had shoulder length black hair and pale skin. If he was an animal he would definitely be a Raven.
I was so transfixed on him that I accidentally walked into a table.
I heard a few snickers from around me and I just rolled me eyes and huffed.
I sat down next to Kellin, determined to make conversation.
"Hi I'm Vic. Vic Fuentes" i said as I held my hand out to shake his.
He flinched back at my movement and his eyes went wide.
I titled my head. Confused. But I soon brushed it off when I realised he was okay.
Suddenly I felt his hand on mine as he gave me an extremely quick handshake.
"Hi, Kellin Quinn" he said so quietly he basically whispered.
"Would you like to come and sit my me and my friends at lunch?" I asked him hopefully.
At first he seemed hesitant.
"Please" I asked again. "You seem like a nice person and I'd like to get to know you better?"
I guess he changed his mind.
"Ok then" he replied with a small smile.
I was happy. I'd made friends with the only person in the room that actually interested me.
