Dean was tired. It was good he had gotten a few hours before work. Sleep was a rarity nowadays. Nightmares kept him tossing and turning, so when he did get sleep it wasn't that good.
It was hard for him to function. Mechanic by day, Hunter by night. But he managed. He was lucky Bobby gave him such a lax schedule. No way could he have a full time job while also being a superhero. It was exhausting.
But, nevertheless, Dean made it through. He drove home after his shift, pulling into the shady parking garage. He took the elevator up, since he was too tired to take the stairs. It was only 5:00 pm. "Oh what shall I do for three hours?" He asked himself. Dean chuckled and turned on the TV. Switching over to Dr. Sexy.
About an hour later, he heard keys jingling in the hallway, and then the front door open. He looked over from the couch, seeing a familiar mop of chocolate brown hair, almost black.
"Hey Cas. Getting home late?" Cas smiled at his roommate "Yes, I just had to run a few errands." He pointed his chin at the TV. "What are you watching?"
"Dr. Sexy."
"As if it would be anything else."
"You know you love me." Cas stared at him, then cleared his throat. "Well, uh, I just came to drop off some things. But I got a thing. Can you put them away maybe?"
"Sure thing, where ya going?" Cas looked at him a moment and jabbed his thumb at the door. "Meeting, with a coworker."
"Okay, just don't get mugged." Cas laughed and walked back out the door.
