Hey yeah what happens when escaping
Becomes our new reality
Hiding my feelings because I don't want to be annoying
And we both become stressed out
We can end up anywhere
It doesn't matter because
We have a lifetime to get there
To be dust bud
Why are we trying so hard to laugh
It should come natural like choosing a path
Trodden a smooth hey yeah
Let's keep it going in here
Staying quiet in the den until what we're escaping disappears
Or rush out making noise until what scares us retreats in fear
Either way let's have fun and show it we belong here
As long as we stand strong we won't be backed into the corner
And why do you laugh at my friends
When they're doing their best
Trust in me we are laughing with you by days end
Come back to me to see where we begin sure as shit again and again
You thought you'd escape well think again you're still learning
