I know what you're saying here
And there is nothing I can do about it
Can only sit and wait in tears
As I try to save myself again from this
I make another tea as I continue to wait
It maybe only a little fermented yeah
To stay out of trouble that stays between you and me
*Cough* And cigarette hey I'm smoking this chain
I don't know if I'll ever see you again
Or will I hear you sing reminding me why I am waiting
Why I hide that awful drink and baby I'm sorry I'm slurring
I know it has it's date but if I don't hear from you again
I won't be pouring it down the sink
And by then it will be time well written in ink
I will drink myself to death and,
And, and, not worry about the stink
And I'll reject all council
Not showing up for health
At all making my own demise fall
Cocking the hammer with spring loaded trigger
And brains against the wall
OH how I love the art
I'm leaving my last mural

PoetryShort story, long stories, stories that must rhyme and by written poetically, I think. I might add my earlier poems to this collection also.
