Goodbye until then

Whatever my love

I'll be there unless you first show up

You declared your love for me

And so nothing stops

I am making no unnecessary stops

It will be a journey straight there

Even if it gets me nowhere

I'll trust in God some paper God

In all great faith that love hasn't yet disappeared

And if it has I hope to reunite with Jesus there

So I can again be forgiven for being on the Earth 

Please GOD I am not one for begging

Though I am begging you to remember

More than what you wanted to hear

I'm sorry but gossips are the reason you're disapproved

Tomorrow may be lights out

Yet I wish to hear the sound of her sweet voice

Singing in my ears

Sorry mom but I have no choice

Though now with circumstance making backroom plans

This love I fear the day that draws to a close OH OH OH

I'll again need to move heaven and earth just to get there

Though true love is worth it or so I hear

Don't need you explaining that one to me it is very clear

If it must be I'll die loving her from here

Though now any bloodshed is on your hands

I am not going to be your two timing savior

So what if I got time and this is all on my dime

When she's all I have left to be waiting for

My love may be brutal but so too was the conditioning of my art

Now think about this and feel the brunt action

I am only asking if you are willing to pay for two or more hearts

Mom it's not just mine that you'll be tearing apart

Not that it matters anymore

Unless with closed ears

Leaving out the gossip's horn

You can feel my prayers

I don't want to again live through all that I mourn

I did and I am not ready to go again

Though for giggles I guess this could be goodbye until then
