THIS IS NOT LILYS POV

THIS IS NOT LILYS POV

-------

“I’m glad we are doing this date thing.” Keaton said while we were walking hand in hand down the street. We figured walking would be better than taking the bus or asking my parents for a ride.

“How could I have said no to you though?” I joked and he looked down smiling. That guy is so cute. I met him at my dad’s shop downtown, a few weeks ago, and we talked for a bit. He eventually came back a couple of days later and we talked some more. I thought he was super sweet and we immediately hit it off. After a couple of text and a couple of hang out, here we were.

“So what do you want to do? I have something planned out…kind of…but if you have special requests, say them now!” He said sweetly. I kind of want to know what he had planned out, so I’ll let him decide. I like surprises.

“I’ll be happy with whatever you have planned out.” I smiled and he squeezed my hand warmly.

“Don’t have high expectations though… it’s simple stuff.” He answered.

“What? You didn’t rent a limo or made a reservation in an expensive restaurant? What is wrong with you?” I playfully said as I shoved him lightly. He laughed and shoved me back. We walked for a little while, just enjoying each other’s company.

“Let’s make a left on that street.” He said and I followed him without protest, we were getting pretty close to the beach pier and where all the touristic stuff is.

“Are you hungry now?” I asked, wondering if we should look out for good restaurant or we could walk by the beach for a little while longer.

“I’m always hungry.” He responded and I smiled.

“I have a hard time believing you since you are so skinny.” I answered and poked his side, proving my point.

“I’m not skinny; I’m healthy… thank you very much.” He faked a hurt look and I went on with teasing him.

“Well, your brother looked healthy too, yet he has a killer bod.” I said like a smart-ass. I laughed at his reaction, which was gasping and stopped walking.

“Wow, already going for my brother? I can just bring you home and you can go on a date with him..” He looked hurt but I could still see a small smirk on the corner of his lips.

“I’m just joking; I’d rather be with you. Plus, I like your body.” I smiled and he stuck his tongue out me.

“Hey, I’m not a piece of meat; don’t check me out like that.” He went on with the joke and I rolled my eyes.

“So basically I was thinking seafood?” He told me after the joke died down, and I agreed. So we got into this little restaurant that had a rustic look to it, it was right by the beach so we had a pretty cool view. Keaton and I followed the waitress who brought us to our table. I think Keaton had something to do with the fact that she gave us a table that was secluded from all the others, it was nice. Like a true gentleman he pulled on my chair so I could sit first. I thanked him and got a hold of the menu.

“Lobster or crab? Decisions decisions.” He asked after he read through all the pages.

“Why don’t you take crab, I’ll take lobster and we can share?” I answered; he nodded his head in approval and closed the menu quickly.

“I like your way of thinking.” He said. Dinner went amazingly nice. We talked about everything and nothing, we had a hard time with the seafood shell but it was so much fun seeing Keaton struggle to get those lobster claws open. When our bellies were full with food we left and Keaton insist on paying for me. I obviously object a thousand times but the waitress just smiled and told me I should enjoy being treated this nicely. I agreed and thanked him with a hug right in front of the restaurant.
