Slim: HOLD UP YOU TWO! You and Adam are a thing now?
Adam: If thing is meant to be a couple, then yeah. I was gonna tell you both but then, I thought it would have been better if it was a surprise.
Slim: MAAHH MANN *hand shakes Adam*
Waqas: Way to go son!! *hand shakes Adam as well*
You: Ok thank you. Now before this melts, drink it. I bought you both iced caramel lattes.
You held onto Adam's hand with the frappucino in one hand and the flowers in your bag. All four of you got into an Uber and got going. Slim sat at the front while you sat next to the window, Adam in the middle and Waqas on the other side.
You: So how was the cricket match?
Slim: It was lit, the people are so fancy over there. The audience was so posh, and then there was me and Adam.
Adam: Nah, it was just Slim. THIS DUDE STARTED SCREAMING 'YALLAH WAQAS'. He's so embarassing, don't go to a cricket match with him. *laughs*
Waqas: Yeah it was good, won 2 matches out of 3. But the ball hit my face hard, hence the bruise and bloody nose.
You: Ok, you want me to check on you, or have you already seen a doctor?
Waqas: No I haven't seen a doctor.
You: Ok any nasal blockage?
Waqas: No.
You: Bleeding?
Waqas: Yeah, now it's stopped though.
You: Have you got pain under the eye?
Waqas: Yeah, lot of pain.
You: Ok, I'm just going to touch it a little. *presses face to feel skull* ok, you may have a fractured cheekbone, but make sure to get an x-ray.
Waqas: Thank you.
Slim: Damn man Adam, you're never gonna end up dying, she'll always save you.
Adam: I know *looks at you* that's why she's my precious. *clasps hand*
He smiled at you letting you know that you're safe as long as you're with him. All three of them were really tired, since they didn't get enough sleep. There was so much traffic and the driver said it would take 1 hour to get home. Slim knocked out at the front, Waqas fell asleep leaning his head on the door. Adam took of his hat and laid his head on your shoulder. You stroked his hair until he fell asleep. All three of them were eventually asleep.
