You and Adam were getting married next week. His parents loved you, and they were so happy that Adam proposed to you. They said it was about time for Adam to get married and have kids. Your best friend's parents funded for you. You were like their second daughter, they said what's the point of keeping the money to themselves. They bought your wedding dress and everything else. You had to leave Adam a week before your marriage, you were not allowed to see him for a whole week (wedding traditions). So you went to your best friend's parents house.....you called them mum and dad, because they honestly were like one.
Adam: Awh man. I'm gonna miss you. *puts hands on your waist*
You: Yeah....I won't really miss you.
Adam: What?! Come on.
You: I'm actually happy I'm not gonna see you for one week.
Adam: But why, what did I do wrong?!
You: Nothing, it's just after that one week, I'll be with you forever.
He blushed as you stared at his grinning face, and just thought he was just too cute. You left the house and headed off.

1 week went really fast with work. Everyone at your work was extremely excited for your wedding, and you were really well known so SO many people were coming. Doctor George was acting a bit strange though. You and him were alright after what happened previously, but he was a really good friend of yours, you wanted him to feel more happy than upset.
You: Doctor George. I'd like to talk to you in private?
George: Sure
You both got into an empty staff room.
You: Are you ok?
George: Yeah, why what's wrong?
You: Ok look. I know you have a thing for me, and I totally don't mind that. Just please don't be upset about the fact that I'm getting married in a few days. Please. You've been one of my good friend and.....I wanna see you happy.
He let out a loud sigh and came close to you.
George: I know it's too late now, but I love you so so much y/n. I don't want you to get married, I'm sorry. You've become like a part of my whole life. I honestly feel jealous of Adam, such a lucky man.
You could feel his sorrow as he looked so helpless. You put your hand on his shoulder as you tried to comfort him
You: We will still be in contact you know. I will just be married, that's all. We can just be friends.
You turned in for a hug as you said he will find the right one someday. You let go of him as you were inches away from his face. He leaned in to kiss you as you leaned back and looked away.
You: George! Stop! I'm getting married in a few days.
George: Just one. I'll keep it between us.
You shaked your head and walked out of the room. You were getting married to the love of your life and no one was stopping you.
