Chapter 64

Today was your first ever baby scan. You were extremely excited and nervous at the same time. Adam had all your paperworks ready. You both got to the hospital, you checked in and waited patiently.
Adam: You ok baby?
You: Hmm, just a little nervous. I'm just thinking about the possibility of maybe having two babies in here.
Adam: *holds your hand* won't we be so lucky.
Nurse: Y/N?
You both walked into the room as you laid down on the bed and Adam sat down on the chair right next to you. The nurse asked you a few questions and then started putting the gel on your belly.
Nurse: This is going to be very cold so just bare with me.
Adam placed his hand on top of your hand as you both smiled at each other. The machine started to make a whirring sound. You both looked up to see what was happening.
Nurse:*moving the transducer around* ok we can hear the heartbeat of the baby, but where is the baby?
She kept moving it all around until she found the baby, it was right at the bottom.
Nurse: That's strange. The baby seems to be pushed down. Hold on.
Nurse: OH, another heartbeat. Hold on. Oh wow.
You: What happened?! *squeezing Adam's hand*
Adam: Is the baby OK?
Nurse: Congratulations Mr and Mrs Saleh, you're having twins. Look, baby 2 is on top of baby 1. But there you have it, two heartbeats and two bodies.
You started crying as this was literally a dream come true, twins! You didn't care if they were girls or boys or mix. It felt like a dream. Adam couldn't stop smiling and looking at your tears of joy. The nurse printed out an ultrasound picture for you both.
Adam: I have no words.
You: How are we having twins! It doesn't run in your family nor mine. How!
Adam: I'm the luckiest man alive to be having twins and a gorgeous wife. I'm gonna call the boys over.
The day went by, as the boys were all at your home.
Waqas: What are you guys planning to name them?
Slim: Obviously!! Thing 1 and Thing 2.
Adam: What the heck!
You: You WIERD CHILD, would you name your twins that!
Slim: Maybe.
Adam: No what the hell!
You: Names.....I don't know. Oh it's another like 5 months, we're good.
Time went by fast, the boys decided to sleep over, they just couldn't be asked to go back home. Adam wanted to sleep with them in the living room.
You: Guys I don't want to be left alone, I'm also kind of scared.....
Adam: OK babe, I feel bad for you as well come sleep here.
You bought your pillows and blankets down. You came back to see the boys all lying down on the floor, Slim in the middle, Adam next to the couch and Waqas on the other end.
You: Err guys, you can sleep on the couch.
Waqas: Nah, you're pregnant, you sleep on the couch with Adam next to you on the floor.
Adam waved up at you as you made yourself comfortable on the couch.
Adam: Goodnight guys, love you all!!
Everyone: NIGHT, LOVE YOU TOO AND ALL OF YOU!!
You let your arm dangle of the couch so that you could feel Adam and Adam could feel you.
