Chapter 33

The paramedics came and were in shock that it was one of their own, they took you away on a stretcher as Adam held onto your hand the whole time, and never let you go. As you got to the hospital the doctors gave you blood supply, stitched your head and gave you some oxygen. Adam sat outside waiting for the whole process to finish. The doctor finally came out, letting him go in to see you.
He took the chair and sat beside your bed clasping onto your hand. Your unconscious self and him were alone in the room. He laid his head on your leg and just faced you. Tears dropped out of his eyes as he couldn't bear the thought that he could have slightly lost you today, you could have been kidnapped or raped or worse murdered. He closed his eyes, and thanked God that nothing happened to you. There was a knock on the door. It was Abe(Ibrahim), Adam's older brother. He told him to come since he was panicking.
Abe: Adam. Is she OK?
Adam: Yeah she's fine, they stictched her head and all that.
Abe: She's very pretty. You're a lucky man.
Adam: Hah. Thanks. I love her a lot Abe *puts head back down and looks at you*. It's so scary knowing that I almost lost her today.
Abe: *stands beside Adam, puts hand on back* as long as she's with you she will be safe. Did you find out about the boys and tell the police?
Adam: Yeah man I told the police, I don't know anything about the boys, but they hurt my girl, and they're not safe.
Adam felt a grip on his hand. He quickly looked up seeing you wake up. You breathed heavily through the mask, as the bright lights kept hitting your eyes. Adam stood up and touched your face, still holding your hand.
Adam: Y/n. It's ok, I'm here.
You smiled through the mask as you took the mask of your face. You looked ahead and saw another man.
Adam: He's my older bother, Abe.
You: Oh, hi *broken voice*
Abe smiled and waved at you. He sat down.
You: Adam, did you tell the police anything?
Adam: Babe relax, take it easy.
