Slugabed (noun) [sluhg-uh-bed]
A person who usually stays in bed long after the usual time of arriving

You opened your eyes, to be greeted by the light shining through the window. You stretched your legs while you still lay in bed.
You looked up to find Dylan, awake and smiling. "Hey baby, you're awake huh?" He said, in his morning voice. You looked at him closely. He seemed as if he was awake for a while.
You cleared your throat and got up from your position. "How long have you been awake for?" You asked as you ran a hand through his scruffy hair. He paused, a thinking expression on his face.
"Umm, well I... about half an hour?" He said as he held your hand. "What?" You looked at him in disbelief, "You were here, awake for half an hour. Why didn't you wake me up?"
He smiled and pushed back a strand of hair from your face. "You look beautiful when you sleep. I didn't want to ruin your peace," he answered. You smiled uncontrollably.
"Well, we should get up and start the day," you started to get off of the bed when Dylan grabbed your hand. "Can't we stay here for ten more minutes? I like this..." Dylan requested with the cutest expressions, that no one could ever say no to.
You lay back down, your head on his chest as he wrapped an arm around you. "Of course we can. I like it too."
