You stood in the bathroom as you put a light blue dress on your daughter. [y/d/n] was super excited about having her friends over to play.

"And we gonna pway and find the eggs and..." Your two year old said as she played with her hair brush. You smiled and fixed the dress. You took the brush from your daughter's hands and started to brush her soft, [h/c] hair.

You put [y/d/n]'s hair into two ponytails. She looked adorable. You grabbed the 'Easter themed' headband that your daughter had made with her daddy. You placed it on top of her head and smiled. It had bunny ears, with colourful paper eggs stuck on the head band part.

Yes, you were having an Easter party and you invited all of your neighbors. You and your husband had planned a 'Find The Eggs' activity for the kids.

He was put right now, placing all the eggs filled with chocolates in your backyard. "Okay, so the eggs are in place. I'll get the barbecue set up now," You husband, Dylan, informed.

"Oh wow! [y/d/n], you look amazing!" Dylan said. Your daughter giggled, "Daddy, you look good too!" Dylan picked up your little girl and tickled her. She laughed so much, you smiled.

"Okay I need to get ready," You said and kissed your husband, "I'll see you in a few minutes." Dylan nodded and you closed the bathroom door behind you.

Minutes later, you walked out wearing a sun dress of the same colour as your daughter's. You left your hair open, wearing a matching headband. You wore flat coat shoes of the same colour too.

You made your way to the backyard. You spotted Dylan poking at the barbecue fire with a tong. [y/d/n] was kicking a ball around.

Dylan saw you and grinned. "You look beautiful, honey!" He yelled and you gave him a flying kiss.

The door bell rang. You walked to the main door and we're greeted by your next door neighbors. They had brought some doughnuts for all the kids to have.

"Aw thank you, Rebecca," You said and placed the box on the kitchen counter. You led your guests to the backyard and Dylan greeted them. Their son, Andrew, started to play with your daughter.

all the guests had arrived. The food was getting ready in the barbecue and you were about to start the game.

"Alright kids, [y/d/n]. Uncle Dylan and I have planned a game for you all," You announced, "It's called 'Find The Egg'. The aim of the game is to find the most eggs. All the eggs are in the backyard."

"There are fifteen eggs," You said to the 6 kids in front of you, "Are you ready?" They all exclaimed a 'YES!', making you smile. "Okay, 3...2...1...FIND THE EGGS!" You said and all the children ran around, searching for eggs.

All the parents smiled and chuckled. You walked to Dylan, who wrapped an arm around your waist and kissed your head. You side hugged him as you watched your daughter looking in the plants.

"3,4,5! And we have a winner!" You smiled, "Congratulations Ben, you've won the game!" Everyone clapped and cheered. You brought a bag from behind your chair and gave it to the boy.

"Here's your prize!" You said and he peeked into it. He grew excited when he took out the remote control car. "Thank you, Mrs. O'brien," Ben said and ran to his parents.

"All the eggs can be opened. You can keep the eggs and whatever is inside is all yours! You told and the kids started to open up the eggs. You had a huge smile when all the kids were happy to find chocolates and sweets inside.

"Mommy! Mommy!" Your daughter ran to you, "I got the special egg!" You took the egg from [y/d/n] and opened it. "Wow! You got a... Yo-Yo!" She looked at you with confusion. You assumed she didn't know what a Yo-Yo is.

You knelt down and held your daughter's shoulders. "Go show this to daddy. He'll show you how to use it," You said and kissed your daughter's nose. She giggled, then ran to your husband.

Dylan carried your daughter and showed her how to use the Yo-Yo. You smiled and walked towards your friends, who were sitting in a circle.

Nothing could make this day better, you thought.
