Chpt.13

Hi guys so I know that you all have been waiting for a update and I'm sorry that I have been making you wait so long, I've had a lot of stuff going on at home that was not expected and I have school. So this book may take a little bit longer to finish but it will be finished. Thank you all for the love and support!

Elena's POV
I wrap a towel around me and walk out of the bathroom. Klaus is still gone and I'm hungry. I quickly get dressed and lay down in bed. What am I going to do? What if klaus doesn't give me his blood? What if he doesn't turn his humanity back on?
No. He has to turn it back on, I don't care what I have to do. I hear the door squeak open and I sit up, startled.

"Relax, it's just me"

Klaus says throwing his jacket on the bed.

"did you feed?"

I ask bluntly and he raises his eyebrows.

"Yes I did, .....and I suppose you want my blood now."

"well it would be nice considering I'll die without it."

after a moment he sits down next to me and bites his wrist.

"here"

i look at him and then at his wrist and I feel the veins appear under my eyes. Then I get an idea.

"No"

I say putting my fangs away and he looks at me confused.

"I won't take your blood until you turn your humanity back on."

"Don't be stupid Elena. I'm not turning my humanity back on. Now either you drink my blood willingly or I'll force you, your choice."

I see a glimmer of anger and desperation in his eyes and I finally figure it out.

"Oh my god..... You never turned it off did you? It's been on this whole time..... If you really turned off your humanity you wouldn't care if I lived or died....... and all of those innocent people that you killed in the woods were just part of the act. You just wanted me to believe that you turned it off so that I would come with you!!" 

I say and I can tell he's shocked.

"I knew it was the only way I could get you to come with me."

he says and I stare at him. I look into the eyes of the bastard son that was abused by his father, turned into a monster, and neglected by his family more than once.... and If I had to choose one moment were I realized how much I truly loved him.....it would be this one.
