Here I am, surrounded by graves everywhere. I remember when reading the messages on tombstones was a hobby. I've always enjoyed coming to the graveyard. It makes me feel like there's at least one place where I stand out.

I hear Silvester barking. He's a pug who lives in here. I came to know from people living around, that his owner, who was around 19, died. He has been here, next to her grave ever since. Silvester and I are good friends, whenever I'm at the cemetery, we hang out together.

"Hey baby! This one's for Lilith. Go give it to her.", I place a orchid in his mouth. He goes and keeps it on her grave, then he comes and sits beside me.

"Hey you, how are you holding up?", I speak to one of the graves. "I know you're kinda angry since I didn't visit you for a long time but come on, you know the reason.", Silvester keeps looking at me.

"So anyway, I kinda wanted a suggestion. You remember how me and Emilia made a plan to go on a road trip when she saw some Bollywood film? She wants to go. I know I promised her but I don't feel like going. Do you think it'll make things any better for me? Give a sign.", as soon as I finish the sentence, a leaf comes falling from the tree right beside the grave.

Call it co-incidence, but I believe that this was their way of communicating with us.

"So you want me to go, hah?"

Silvester interrupts with a bark.

"Sup Silvester?", I say moving my hands on his furry skin.

We hang out for another hour.

"It's time for me to leave you two! Bye Silvester.", he licks my leg as I pat his back.

I go close to the grave and whisper, "Love you, Maa!"

I go out and grab a cup of tea in the cafe close to cemetery. I've only taken the first sip of my tea when a heavy voice approaches me, "Do you mind if I sit here? Rest of the seats are taken."

Humans.

I don't even bother looking at the person, I take my bag, "It's a free country.", I say and leave.

I walk back to home and am welcomed by Kim blubbering, "Alex, I'm going to the boutique to get some new dresses. Your dad wouldn't be home till night. Also Emilia-"

"Why don't you settle in the boutique Kim? You are there for the majority of your time anyway.", I cut her off.

"Well if that's the case, why don't you settle in the cemetery? Because everyone you love is dead."

"In that case, I love you, Kim.", I roll my eyes.

And she leaves.

I lock the door and walk up to my room only to see Emilia playing solitaire on my laptop.

"Welcome Home!", she beams. I need to start listening to Kim.

"And what are you doing here, Emilia?", I say throwing my bag on the bed.

"Well to start with, I'm making up for not texting my best friend when she needed me the most.", she stands up. "I'm sorry Alex. I really am. After the attack I just-", she rambled.

"No one talks about that. No one.", I raise my index finger to silence her.

"Um, ya okay! I'm sorry Alex. Forgive me, please?",
