The stench of alcohol and weed smacked me in the face as I walked into the crowded house with sweaty drunk/high teenagers dancing and grinding to the music. The music is loud that my whole body is vibrating and I can't even hear myself think and everywhere I walk I would bump into couples making out. Shawn and I's hands are still intertwined together as we walk through the crowded house searching for the kitchen so the whole group can get drinks and I can search for some water. "HEY GUYS IM HAPPY YOU GUYS CAME" Jake said walking over to us surprisingly not drunk yet. "Hey what's up bro" JJ said doing the bro hug thing that I will never understand and he did that to the rest of the guys. "Hey Lily, hey Laura" he said hugging them. "Hey Vanessa looking Gorgeous as always" he said hugging me. " You look handsome as always too" I said back. Jake and I are good friends and have been for awhile now so I'm used to him being so flirty towards me. "So Guys drinks are over here " he said leading everyone to the kitchen. "Help yourselves" he said to them as he is pouring himself a drink. The drinks are all lined up on the kitchen counter in rows, I've never seen so much alcohol in my life.

"Hey Vanessa come here" jake said gesturing me over to where he is by the sink. "Yes?" I said going over to him. " I know you don't drink, so I hid some soda and water in a cooler under the sink for you" he said opening up the cabinet under the sink so I can see it. "Aww thank you Jake" I said hugging him. "Your welcome Vanessa anything for you" he said releasing from the hug. "Okay I'll talk to you later I got to make sure my house isn't being destroyed" he said walking out "Okay bye" I said turning to Shawn who is making himself a drink. "Hey Nessa" he said mixing his drink. "What is that" I said pointing to his cup "Well it is cranberry juice with some vodka" he said taking a sip. "What's that in your cup" he asked me "Oh it's soda, coke to be exact" I said looking down at my cup swirling the bubbly substance around. I look up to find Shawn starring down at me smiling. "What" I said blushing looking back down. " you're just so different from the girls I have met and you are just so naturally beautiful" he said lifting up my chin and pushing a strand out of my face tucking it behind my ear. He was about to say something else when we were interrupted by Cameron. "Hey Shawn come on I need you for beer pong" he yelled over the loud music and because he was so excited to play beer pong. "Oh okay, I'll talk to you later Vanessa" Shawn said and just like that he was off to play beer pong. I took my cup and decided to look for Sammy since he was going to sober tonight as well. I made my way through the house looking for Sammy and I can't find him anywhere. Then I remembered I forgot to check the basement, whenever Jake has parties Sammy and the guys and I come down here to just hang out not a lot of people come down here because nothing fun happens down here and it's quieter in the basement. I made my way down the stairs and there I find Sammy sitting on the couch talking to Mike and some other guys. Thank god I found him I looked through this whole damn house. "Hey guys" I said walking over to them sitting down next to Sammy. "Hey where did you go all of you guys disappeared after Jake came" Sammy said "Oh yeah Jake took me to the kitchen he wanted to show me something" I said taking a sip of my drink. Sammy was eyeing me as I sipped on my drink. "What?" I said looking at Sammy. "Are you drinking what I think your drinking, I thought you were going to be the designated driver tonight with me" Sammy said whining. "It's soda Sammy, Jake had some stashed away for me, I would never drink in a million years" I said to Sammy giggling. He is so silly for thinking that I would choose to drink. "Oh phew Nessa I thought you would try and drink tonight I don't know why I just did since you went into the kitchen with everyone else" he said chuckling "I'm a dumbass" he said laughing. I started to giggle "Damn Vanessa you are looking hot tonight" John said winking at me, He was sitting across from us on another couch. I rolled my eyes he is so annoying he always try's to flirt with me but I will never give in. "John shouldn't you be sucking face with your girlfriend Monica" I said Monica is John's "girlfriend" they just hook up so they aren't really together they always hook up though. It's weird and Monica is also the rudest and the most self absorbed person you will ever meet. She has always been a bitch to me she always tells me how my group should've just let me commit suicide and the whole school would be a happier place without me in it but I don't let her get under my skin.
