HEAL ME

CHAPTER 7

I wake up to my alarm going off and I taped snooze and I sat up in bed with a smile on my face. I got up and went to my bathroom to take a shower. Once I was showered I got out and put my hair in a braided bun and did simple makeup. Then I went to my closet and picked out my outfit and changed into it. (Outfit below)

Once I was satisfied with my look I went to my bed grabbed my phone and then grabbed my backpack and sandals and went downstairs. I walked into the kitchen I grabbed my lunch and drink front the fridge and slipped them into my bag and grabbed an apple from the fruit basket and walked out the door to my car and slipped inside. Today was my turn to pick up Johnson so I drove to Johnson's house and stopped in his driveway. I honked my horn twice and within seconds Johnson comes running out. "Hey V" he said getting in the car and buckling up. "Morning J" I said leaning over and giving him a hug. So as we were driving I told him the news about my modeling and about my college and he was so happy for me. I left out the part that Shawn and I are together we want to tell the whole group together. We arrived at school and we made our way out of the car and towards the group as they wait outside the front of the school like always. I see Shawn and he gave me a wink and I blushed at that and thankfully no one saw that. "Hey guys"  I said hugging everyone I got to Shawn last and he gave me a peck on the lips.we let go and turned to the group to see that all of them are starring at us. "Did you guys forget to mention something to us" Sammy said "oh yeah we are together" I said smiling and intertwining mine and Shawn's fingers. "Aawwww yay I'm so happy for you guys" Laura said smiling and clapping her hands together. Everyone was so happy we are together and that makes me really happy so I decide to tell the rest of the group my big news. So I told them and they were all so happy and they were all congratulating me when the bell rang signifying that it was time to go to class.  Usually Lily, Laura, and I would walk together but today was different. I turned towards Shawn and gave him a kiss. "Bye see you at lunch" I said. Smiling up at him.
"I'll see you at lunch" he said smiling down at me cheekily. I Let go and linked arms with Laura and was waiting for Lily but she walked away with G. So Laura and I looked at each other and shrugged and smiled and went on with walking to class.
LUNCH
I walked to my locker and put my books I don't need back into my locker and closing it back up and I was about to walk off but I turned to see Shawn walking my way. "Hey babe" he said snaking his arms around my waist and I snaked mine around his neck. "Hi" I said smiling up at him. "I didn't get to tell you earlier but you look amazing today" he said looking down at me. "Aww thanks babe you look cute today too" I said to him and pecked his lips. "Come on let's go eat I'm starving" Shawn said intertwining our fingers and walking to the cafeteria. We got to the cafeteria and sat Down at our usual table. I got out my food and Shawn got out his food and started to dig in. (Vanessa's food below)

I ate my food and talked with the others while Shawn and I were next to each other with our hands intertwined. I was eating my food when I saw Sammy look upset and him and Laura got up and walked off. Huh? I wonder what he is mad about.

SAMMY'S POV
Being with Vanessa the whole weekend made it so hard for me to not kiss her and telling her and encouraging her to go for Shawn really hurt but I had to. What girl like Vanessa would go out with a guy like me, you know I'm the kind of guy girls like Vanessa wouldn't go for you know. I have liked Vanessa since we were 16 and ever since I have fallen deeper and deeper for her. I was going to tell her how I feel but then Shawn was quick and asked her to be his girlfriend. My heart aches for her and when her heart is broken by Shawn I will be here to pick up the broken pieces. I will get Vanessa in the end. I will. We are at lunch all of us at the table and I am across from Shawn and Vanessa and seeing them so close and holding hands. My heart ached looking at them. "Hey Sammy are you okay?" Laura asked. I turned to her she was sitting next to me. "No, can we go somewhere to talk?" I asked "yea let's go" she said standing up and I followed. Laura knows that I have feelings for Vanessa. Laura and I tell everything to each other whenever something's wrong we tell each other I don't know I guess she  is my go to person to talk to and I'm like that for her. We make it to football field and to sit on the bleachers. We always come here to talk when we are at school. "Okay spill what's wrong?" Laura said looking at me with concern. "Vanessa and Shawn that's what's wrong" I said "Sammy you should've told her what happened? to telling her at the party that was the whole reason why you decided to not drink that night so you can tell her how you feel." She said throwing her hands in the air. "I panicked when we saw Shawn grinding with that girl and Vanessa was all upset I didn't want to overwhelm her by telling her my feelings Laura" I said. "Besides she just thinks of me as her best friend" I said looking down. Laura lifted up my Chin and looked at me straight in the eyes. "Sammy you need know that you are a great guy okay even if you have flaws because no one in this entire world is perfect. You are such an amazing guy but you are so blind to see that you are such a great best friend to all of us especially me you know how to listen and when the time is right you will find someone even if it's not Vanessa. They will love and cherish you Sammy." Laura said to me . I grabbed her and embraced her in for a hug. "Thanks Laura I needed that you are such An amazing best friend too I don't know what I would do without you" I said kissing her forehead and then the bell rang. So we both got up and walked to our next class and went on with the rest of the day.
