The apology

Cas' POV
I had stopped a while before Castiel left. Now I was just sitting on my bed. My phone started ringing so I got it out of my pocket and looked to see who it was. It was Dean.

I picked it up.

"Dean, I'm really sorry about what happened. That was never supposed to happen and I'm really sorry. You would never want to hurt you and I'm also really sorry about breaking my promise that I made to you about never tasting human blood ever again. I'm really sorry, Dean. Please, can you ever forgive me? I'll never happen again." I rushed out as soon as I picked up the phone and now I was out of breath.

He let out a soft chuckle.

"Cas, I was never mad at you but I'll forgive you. I shouldn't have told that you needed to stop with human blood. You're a vampire and vampires live off of human blood." He said.

"Well actually, vampires can live off of animal blood as well and I hadn't craved human blood in a long time. I really don't know what happened." I said to him.

"It's ok, Cas. It's not your fault." He said.

"Dean, I could've bitten you. I could've hurt you." I said to him.

"But you didn't. That's the only thing that counts. Thank you so much for saving me back there by the way." He said.

"You're welcome, Dean. It's kind of my job." I said and chuckled lightly.

"Yeah, I suppose it is. Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies tomorrow? You know, since we're friend and I have off tomorrow." He said and lightly chuckled.

"Sure. I'd like that." I said and smiled.

"Ok, good. Well, I'll see you tomorrow I guess. Bye Cas." He said.

"Bye Dean." I said and hung up.

I smiled to myself. I was going to get to hang out with Dean tomorrow. Just like old times. I was so happy right now.

I suddenly realized that I was hungry. I got up from my bed, walked outside, locked the front door with my powers, and took off into the woods.

I found a deer and instantly ran towards it. After I finished the deer I felt like myself again.

"Hey Cas." I heard Benny say from behind me.

"Hey Benny." I said and turned around.

"Hey, do you want to do something tomorrow?" He asked me.

"Sorry, I can't. I actually have plans with my other friend already. Sorry Benny." I said to him.

"Maybe I could go with you guys?" He asked.

"Well, we actually haven't hung out in a really long time. Just the two of us." I said.

"Ah, I got you. Maybe next week." He said.

"Sure. If I'm not busy." I said.

He nodded.

"Right, well I'm going to get my dinner. Bye Cas." He said.

"Bye Benny." I said and he walked off.

I sensed jealousy in his voice but I don't know why. I mean, Dean and I are just friends. Why would Benny be jealous?

I walk back to my house, go inside, and lock the front door with my powers. I feed Dean's bunny. The guy's getting pretty big now. He's now 2 years old. (I actually don't know how old the bunny is but it's just a wild guess.)

Dean let me keep his bunny because he trusted me with it. He named it Ben a few months before he left. I've been taking good care of it. I feed it, give it water, clean his cage, and give the little fur-ball a bath in my sink every month. He actually enjoys the bath.
