Cas' POV
I walked out of my room and I saw Dean watching T.V."Hey, Dean." I said with a smile.
He looked at me and smiled. "Hey, Cas."
"How did you sleep?" I asked him.
"Good. How was your night?" He asked me.
"Same as usual." I said to him.
I went into the kitchen and started making Dean some breakfast. He was probably hungry.
I made some scrambled eggs and bacon. I got out a plate and put the eggs and bacon on the plate. I grabbed a cup and poured Dean some apple juice.
I took the plate and cup to Dean and handed it to him.
"Awe, thanks Cas. That was very nice of you." He smiled and started eating.
"You're welcome, Dean." I smiled at him.
"Mm." He moaned
I jumped a bit at his moan but shook it off.
He finished eating and he complemented me on my cooking. "That was delicious, Cas." He said.
"Thank you, Dean." I said.
I took his plate and cup. I rinsed off the dishes and put them in the dishwasher.
"Hey, Dean?" I said.
"Yeah, Cas?" He answered.
"Are you going to be ok here by yourself? I'm just going to go get something to eat. I'll only be gone for like 5 minutes." I said.
"Actually, can I come with you?" He asked.
"Sure." I said reluctantly.
"Great." He said and got up from the couch.
"Let's go." I said and we left the house.
We walked through the woods and then I found a deer.
"I'll be back." I said to Dean.
"I'll come with you." He said.
"Dean, you can't stand watching me kill the animal." I said.
"I don't care. I'm coming with you." He said.
"Alright, come on." I said and ran towards the deer.
Dean was sprinting behind me but he couldn't keep up.
I got to the animal, extended my fangs, and started drinking the deer's blood. The deer tried to escape but my grip on it was so tight it couldn't go anywhere. Once I finished, the deer fell dead on the ground, and I covered it's body up with leaves.
I took at Dean who had his eyes closed tightly.
"It's over now, Dean." I said.
"Wipe your mouth first and then I'll open my eyes." He said.
I wiped my mouth a couple of times to get all the blood off of my face.
"There, I wiped my mouth." I said and he opened his eyes.
"Phew, glad that's over." He said.
"Do you want to look around the woods for a bit?" I asked him.
"No thanks. I just want to go back to your house." He said quickly.
"Ok." I said slowly and we started walking back to my house.
What was up with him? Why did he want to come with me during my hunt or when I fed from that deer? He didn't like when I did that but he wanted to come with me? Why? It's not that I minded it. I was just curious as to why he wanted to come with me.
We arrived back at my house and we went inside. Dean sat down on the couch and took out his phone. He opened up a game on his phone and it was called Candy Crush.
I took out my phone and just looked at some stuff. I looked through my contact list and almost started crying once I saw Anna and Alfie's contacts.
I scrolled down and tried not to think about it. It would only make me more depressed. I scrolled down and I saw Gabriel's name. I contemplated about whether if I should call him or not. He might be busy.
I exited out of my contacts before I locked my phone.
"Yes! Finally passed level 71!" Dean cheered in triumph.
I smiled at him a little.
"Hey Cas, you wanna do something today?" He asked me.
"Like what?" I asked him.
"I don't know, maybe we could go to the movies?" He suggested.
I thought about it. "Alright." I said.
"Great. I'll look up some movies theaters because I'm guessing you never leave your house, except to hunt for food."
I nodded my house. "Yeah." I said.
"Ok, there's a movie theater only 10 minutes away from here. I'll go get ready and then we'll go. Ok?" He said.
"Ok." I said.
He got off the couch and went into his room. For some reason I suddenly started smiling. I think it might have been because I wasn't actually lonely anymore. That I finally had someone to hang out with. That someone actually wanted to be my friend.
A few minutes later Dean walked out of his room. He was wearing a pair of jeans, a black t-shirt, and a plaid shirt on top of the t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He had on brown boots. His plaid shirt was black and red. He looked good. I could never pull off his style.
"Ready, Cas?" Dean asked me.
"Only if you are." I said.
"I'm ready."
"Then I'm ready, let's go." I said to Dean.
He nodded and I got my car keys off the kitchen counter. We walked out of the house, I used my powers to lock my front door, we got in my car, and then we made our way to the movie theaters. Dean, of course, told me where to go.
