What Am I To You

Chapter 5

The next day at school I couldn't concentrate on anything. In english I totally messed up my grammar, in math I looked out of the window the whole time and in history I forgot all of the important dates. I only managed to pull myself together for vocal because after all my audition at SM Entertainment and my future depended on my voice so I had to give it my all. 

After vocal we had lunch and Eunsol and I were walking to the cafeteria. I was looking out of the window as I was walking so it wasn't much of a surprise when I almost fell down the stairs. Luckily Eunsol caught me before I almost killed myself.

"Yoona are you okay today? You seem sort of out of it." Eunsol said and she had quite a concerned look on her face.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I guess I'm just in a daydreaming mood today." I said, "thanks for saving me."

"Daydreaming about something or someone?" Eunsol always knew what was on my mind and I couldn't help but blush a little. "Speaking of which your daydream person is walking up the stairs towards us with his whole gang."

I looked up and I saw Taehyung and the rest of his friends walking up the stairs. Jimin saw me first and he nudged Taehyung and the rest of them. Taehyung then also looked and he flashed me one of his special smiles again. I really love that smile now.

They walked past us and just as we were about to continue going down the stairs again, Taehyung called out.

"Yoona, can I talk to for a second. You guys go on ahead I'll be there in a minute." He said to his friends and came towards me. Eunsol proceeded to go down the stairs but stopped at the bottom so that she was still in hearing range. Aish my bestie, always the detective. I turned to Taehyung.

"Yeah what's up." I tried to act calm but I couldn't help smiling.

"Well um...I had a great time yesterday and I wanted to ask you if you wanted to go the park today afternoon." He didn't fully blush but I swear there was a hint of red in his cheeks.

I wanted to say yes but then I remembered that today was Tuesday and I had vocal lessons after school.

"I would love to but I have vocal lessons after school for SM Entertainment. How about Wednesday though?" I was quit surprised at myself that I suggested something but after all this was the first time I had ever liked a guy like this so I was full of surprises.

"Yeah sure, Wednesday it is then!" His face lit up, how cute, "Four o'clock by the gate again?"

"Sure." I said and he walked back to his group.

Eunsol was waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs and she had the biggest grin on her face that I have ever seen. 

"I heard everything!" She wouldn't stop smiling.

"I know!" I said and I also couldn't stop smiling. 

We both started giggling and laughing at the same time.

"I'm so happy for you Yoona! You're going on another date!"

"I know!" Was all I could say. He wanted to do something with me again and this time at the park. Ahh I can't wait until Wednesday comes.

The rest of the day went by pretty quickly. I still couldn't believe that Kim Taehyung liked me. Well I wasn't one hundred percent sure but he asked me out again so I was pretty sure.

I practiced "You Think" very hard during vocal and my singing teacher praised me a lot.

"If you keep this up it will be perfect for your audition at SM Entertainment. It already is perfect but we will make it even better in two months time!"

"Thank you! I'm really looking forward to the auditions. I just hope I get in"

"Kang Yoona, if they don't accept you and that wonderful voice then I will go there myself and talk to the manager." My vocal teacher really was the best.
