What Am I To You

Chapter 6

It was Wednesday afternoon and I was waiting by the school gate again. I couldn't help but smile at the thought of going somewhere with Taehyung again. He's probably going to be late though but I don't mind as long as he comes. I used to hate it when people came late but I am totally changing myself for him.

I was looking down at the ground so I only saw a shadow approaching. I looked up and it was him. Wow he was actually on time. Well it was 16:05 but still ten minutes earlier than last time. 

He came up to me and smiled.

"Thanks for waiting."

"You're still earlier than last time." I joked and we started walking.

"So how was your vocal lesson yesterday? You made me wait one whole day for SM Entertainment." 

I made him wait one whole day? I blushed slightly and looked at the ground.

"It was good. My teacher says that the song is perfect but we are just going to tweak if for the next two months."

"That's great! I'm looking forward to your audition but until then...fighting." Taehyung said and raised his fists.

Wait did I just hear properly? Did he say "looking forward to your audition"? Is he planning on coming?

"You're coming to my audition?" I asked

"Of course I am Yoona. I want to hear that special singing voice of yours." He said and we entered the park.

The park was quite big so we walked around talking about random things. I felt so comfortable with Taehyung and his smile was so cute. From time to time his shoulder would brush past mine and he would look away. Finally I told him what I had been meaning to ask him for a long time.

"I never knew you could be like this." I told him

"Like what?" He asked and looked me in the eyes. He had those dreamy eyes that contained thousands of stars and you could loose yourself in them. 

"So kind and gentle. I always thought you were a playboy and only toyed with girls to be honest." I was quite embarrassed to say the last part but all he did was laugh.

"I guess that's how I seem at school. I try to act all cool and tough but I'm actually a good guy on the inside."

"I know." I said and we stopped walking. Taehyung moved so that he was facing me.

"Yoona I have to tell you something he said. Ever since I saw you this year I've had feelings for you. I can't explain it but I've never had feelings like this for any other girl." He was standing really close now and he laced his fingers through mine. "I love you Yoona." He said and he cupped my face with his hands. He leaned in closer and pressed his lips to mine. They were soft and the kiss was so gentle. I wrapped my arms around his neck to deepen the kiss. He hugged me by the waist and we stood like that for a minute.

After a while we broke apart and I was quite dazed. That was my first kiss. My first kiss was Kim Taehyung. Wow I can't believe it.

"I'm guessing you feel the same way about me?" He asked, his eyes searching me for the answer.

"Yes." I said and he kissed me again.

"Yoona, will you be my girlfriend?"

I giggled and said yes again. It was official. I was dating Kim Taehyung and I was the happiest girl alive. 

Afterwards we walked a bit more through the park holding hands. Taehyung walked me home again and he gave me a goodbye kiss on the lips. This time I didn't care if my parents saw me or not so I returned it. 

"See you tomorrow." He said and left smiling.

"Eunsol...I think I'm in love." I said to my best friend through the phone. I was lying on my bed and couldn't believe what had just happened. 

I talked to Eunsol for about two hours and told her all of the details. Yes I even told her about our passionate kiss because she was my best friend after all and we had been friends since kinder garden. Eunsol fangirled a lot, like she usually does, but then in the end she told me to get some sleep and make myself pretty for tomorrow because after all it was my first time having a boyfriend. 

I did as she said and went to sleep thinking of Taehyung and of tomorrow.
