I noticed one of your friends has a black eye. I haven't seen that specific boy hanging out with you and your group.
Today to my surprise, he walked up to me and put his hand out. My first reaction was to wince, thinking he is going to hit me, but he didn't, he just left it there.
"I'm Alex," He introduces himself taking my hand to his, he instantly reads the confusion I display on my face, " I know this might not mean much now, but as briefly as I can state it, I'm sorry for everything and anything I've done to you."
I'm shocked that someone has finally noticed me as a real individual for once. I gripped his hand firmly, accepting the invitation and possibly making the biggest mistake of my life, but I don't seem to care.
"It's okay, I don't remember even remember you being one of my main attackers," answering optimistically to this new possible friendship and hoping to ease the guilt he displays.
Surprisingly, we continued to talk the rest of the day and I learned that you gave him a black eye because he said he was done with your antics. After those informational hours, I guess you could say Alex and I are no longer enemies now.
