"Alex... Can you please talk to me," I whimper, begging at his doorsteps.
"What do we need to talk about," he snaps," That my girlfriend is a slut and she cheats on people!"
Finally, I get the answer I was looking for, "Daniel told you I did what?"
"Oh don't play that game with me Bailey Mae! Look at you, you know you did it too, I can read it all over your face. You got caught, you're trying to save yourself and you came here just to piss me off more!"
My face burns with frustration and my tears.
It never happened! Why would he listen to my bully and not me! I'm no slut and definitely not a cheater!
"ITS NOT TRUE!," I yell as tears stream down my face," ALEX YOU BITCH, WILL YOU LISTEN TO ME FOR ONE GODDAMN SECOND!"
"One...," his eyes darken, clasping his hands together with no emotion as he gazes upon my helpless and confused state, yet I know he was surprised to hear me talk like that towards him, "I guess your times up, princess. We're done! Get the hell out of my life!"
He slams the front door close, before I can get another word out. My legs automatically get wobbly as if they were made of Jell-O as I try to hold back the rest of my tears while standing there alone on his doorstep. No matter how hard I try the tears continue to flood while my body shook in anger, sadness, and regret. I wipe my cheeks with my arms of my sweatshirt as I dragged myself back to my car.
So this is what it feels like to get your heart broken...
