Chapter Twenty-Five: A Warning

When I got back to Jenning's, I quickly rushed up to my dorm. I had no idea what time it was, but I knew it was the same day because the woman had said "this morning" in reference to me getting all my forms. Breathing heavily after the encounter I had just had, I made it to the dorm and found it empty. The clock said 6:18 pm. They were at dinner.

I have to tell Megan, Lauren, and Luke everything. Just not at dinner. With everyone.

I have to do exactly what I was told not to do. I have to warn the headmaster. I know I can't do it at dinner but... If I wait too long it might be too late.

I'm going to have to do it at dinner.

I rushed down to dinner and found my friends. They were happy to see me, but then soon their expressions became concerned when they saw mine.

I started to explain everything. From my 13th birthday and discovering my fox morph form, then turning into a wolf. I explained how I told my family, and how they trained me to control my powers so that I could keep them a secret. I told them about how I kept discovering new morph forms over the course of the school year and how it was me that Victoria saw and how the video wasn't fake after all. I explained how the sickness this morning had led to me discovering all of my remaining morph forms, and then I explained how I was kidnapped and I explained everything that happened leading up to this point. When I was done it was obvious they didn't know what to say, and I apologized for keeping such a big secret from them for so long. Finally, someone said something.

"We HAVE to warn the headmaster." Lauren said. "If there's going to be an attack... He needs to know."

I nodded. I looked around and quickly spotted the headmaster sitting at the staff table. I walked over trying to be brave. "Hello, sir, there's something... There's something huge that you need to know about. It concerns the safety of the school."

Then, I explained to an alarmed staff table what I had just explained to my friends. Then, the headmaster made an announcement.

Then the school went crazy. No one could quiet the room. But at least they were warned.
