"Megan, why do you have a clipboard? And a folder labeled 'Operation Prank Victoria'? You have never been this organized for schoolwork." I teased.

"Yeah, yeah," Megan smiled. "Anyways, our plan is ready to be set in motion! Everyone remember their parts?"

"Yes." Lauren nodded.

"I'm still going to go over them one more time. Carrie and Lauren, you guys are the distraction. Find Victoria and lead her to the lake. I don't care how, as long as it works." Megan said. "Then, Luke and I will sneak up behind Victoria from where we're hiding and push her in."

"Well, we better get started, cause there she is," I pointed to a place in the courtyard a couple yards away, where Victoria was walking.

"Eep! Places, everyone!" Megan called, and she left along with Luke, while Lauren and I walked towards Victoria.

"Ew, what are you two doing here?" Victoria asked when she saw Lauren and me. "Get away from me."

Lauren sighed. "Victoria, I wish I could, but I just finished talking to Coach. She wants you and I to practice volleyball together before our next practice."

"Isn't that what practice is for?" Victoria asked. "But then why is she here?" She pointed at me.

"I need you to help Jason and I on our Journalism project." I told her. "Remember?"

"Ugh, fine. Let's get this torture over with." She sighed.

"Okay. Let's do it at the lake." I told her.

"Why? The lake water smells funny." Victoria made a face of disgust.

"Because that's where I left the volleyball." Lauren said. "And Carrie left her pen and paper."

"Fine. We'll go there just to get your silly stuff. Then we'll leave." Victoria said.

"Fine." I rolled my eyes and Lauren and I walked to the lake, with Victoria following.

"Where's your stuff?" Victoria asked when we got the lake.

"I don't know, it was right here when I left." I wore a convincing look of confusion.

"So was my volleyball." Lauren said. "I hope the wind didn't blow your paper away, and my volleyball."

"What if it landed in the water?" I asked. "Victoria, can you check if the ball is in the water?"

"Ew, why do I have to?" Victoria asked.

But unfortunately for Victoria, it didn't matter. In a flash, Megan and Luke came out of nowhere and, the next thing I knew, Victoria was in the water, furious.

"YOU TRICKED ME! UGHHHH!" Victoria screamed, got up, and stormed out.

"Revenge is a dish best served cold." Megan smiled.
