The Unknown

Larry wakes up and notices that something ain't right. He gets out of bed and goes into Lau's room.

Larry: Lau wake up.

Lau: Lar leave me alone

Larry: Lau!

Lau: What you want but head?

Larry: Something doesn't feel right.

Lau: You over reacting.

Larry: Lau no i'm not.

Lau: Is it about that dream you had earlier?

Larry: No.

Lau: Than go back to sleep.

Larry: No

Lau: Larry

Larry: Why do you always throw about you being two minutes older than me in my face?

Lau: I don't

Larry: You do!!

Lau: Lar stop

Larry: I don't have to listen to you

Lau: Larry don't make me get out of my bed!

Larry: What you gonna do? Put me into a corner for time out?

Lau: Larry....

Larry: Laurent just because you suffered a bad break up doesn't mean you can push me away!

Lau: I'm not pushing you away!!

Larry: You are! You hardly eat, your drinking more than you normally do, and you've been crying yourself to sleep at night.

Lau: I have not!

Larry: You have too!!!

Laurent just finally snaps and he knocks Larry to the ground.

Lau: I told you to go back to bed! You didn't listen! You never listen to anything I say!

Larry: At least I don't take out my emotions on my brother!

At that moment Laurent go out of bed and pulls Larry off the floor by his hair.

Lau: Larry now i'm only gonna say this one more time. Get out of my room!!

Larry: No!

Laurent opens the door to his and throws Larry out in the hallway and quickly shuts the door and locks it in Larry's face.

Fifteen minutes later Larry is in the kitchen cooking breakfast when Lau comes downstairs. Lau doesn't say anything just grabs his car keys and heads towards the door.

Lau: I'll be back in a little while.

With that he leaves, leaving Larry in the kitchen.

Lau is just driving and than all of a sudden he sees fields of corn and beans and farms. He finally realizes that he's in the country. He makes a left down this one road, there is a blue bike halfway on the road and halfway in a ditch, he than pulls over and gets out.

Girl: Makayla is that you?

Lau doesn't say anything. He knows the girl was crying, her short brown hair was a mess, she was bleeding and her shirt was ripped in the back.

Girl: Who's there?

Lau could hear fear in the girls voice and he finally decides to say something.

Lau: You alright?

Girl: I'm fine, leave me alone.

Lau: I'm Laurent. What's your name?

Girl: I don't talk to anyone but Makayla.

Lau: Who's Makayla?

Girl: I lost her. I was right behind. I don't know where she is.

Lau: Who is she?

Girl: Makayla my twin. I can't feel her.

Lau could tell the girl was starting to freak out. He started walking over to where she sat in the ditch. She didn't move or look his way. He was silent.

Girl: Don't come any closer.

Lau: How can you tell i'm coming near you?

Girl: I can feel the vibrations.

Lau: What's wrong?

Girl: Look I might've been born blind but I can still hurt you.

Lau: Wait your blind?

Girl: MAKAYLA!! WHERE ARE YOU??

Lau: there's nobody else here.

The girl suddenly got up and started to run.

Lau: Stop!

The girl kept running, Lau started to run after her, before he could ketch up to her, the girl ran right into a barbed wire fence. When Lau caught up to her she was bleeding and was passed out from fright and pain. Lau carefully picked up the poor girl and carried her back to his car.

Lau's pov: Poor girl. I don't know where she lives and I don't know where the closest hospital is. I'll take her back to where me and Larry live. Larry will know what to do.

Lau puts the car in drive and goes back the way he came. Soon he is back at the house and he parks the car and goes to the passenger side and carefully picks up the girl and carries her to the house. Before he gets to the house the door opens and Larry steps out.

Larry: Who's that?

Lau: A girl, she needs help.

Larry: What's wrong with her?

Lau: I think someone hit her and took her twin, she also ran into a barb wire fence and she's blind.

Larry: How long has she been blind?

Lau: She said since birth

Larry: You talked to her?

Lau: A little but not much.

Larry: I'll see if I can get cleaned and bandaged up.

Lau: I knew you would.

Lau takes the girl inside and lays her gently on the couch.
