Once they get home Katie smells the over powering stench of blood that's on Laurent's clothes.

Katie: Who's bleeding??

Lau: You just smell the blood on my clothes. Its not my blood, so don't worry.

Katie: What did you do?

Makayla: He killed him and I got rid of him.

Katie: WHAT DID YOU TWO DO?? WHO DID YOU TWO KILL??!

Lau: I killed my dad and Makayla blew his carcass up.

Katie: OH MY GOD!! PLEASE TELL ME THAT THIS IS NOT TRUE!!

Larry: WHAT IN THE HELL WHERE YOU THINKING LAURENT??

Lau: Both of you calm down.

Katie: HOW IN THE FUCK ARE WE SUPPOSE TO BE CALM WHEN YOU TWO KILLED SOMEONE AND BLEW HIM UP?!

Larry: WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU TWO THINKING?

Makayla: Katie you've never cussed before!

Katie: BECAUSE YOU'VE NEVER KILLED ANYONE BEFORE!!!

Makayla: Please calm down.

Katie is crying out of anger, frustration and worry. They all hear thunder and rain.

Makayla: Katie its alright.

Larry: How is going to be alright?

Lau: It just will.

Katie: It won't!

Katie than runs out of the house and into the storm and rain.

Makayla: KATIE!!

Katie continues to run.

Lau: Leave her be. She'll come back soon

Makayla: No she won't! Larry come on!

Makayla and Larry run out into the storm.

Larry: Where did she go?

Makayla: The creek!

Larry: The one from when you two were 8?

Makayla: That's the one.

Larry: We better hurry than!

Makayla: I don't know which way she headed!

Larry: you go one way and I'll go the other way!

Makayla: OK. I'll go right and you go left!

Larry: OK!

They both run in separate directions, Makayla going right and Larry going left. Soon they both reach the creek and Makayla sees Katie holding onto a tree branch.

(The creek and the tree branch Katie is holding onto.)

Katie: Makayla I'm sorry! I didn't know I was running towards the creek!

Makayla: Hold on! I'm coming!

Katie: NO!! THE CURRENT IS MUCH STRONGER THAN LAST TIME I WAS IN IT!!!

Makayla: I DON'T CARE! I'M COMING IN FOR YOU!

Makayla jumps in and is able to get Katie onto the bank before the current sweeps Makayla on down stream.

Katie: MAKAYLA!!!

Larry hears Katie scream and than sees someone in the water trying to fight the current but than her head goes under the water and than comes back up to the surface. Larry jumps in the creek and starts to swim over to the girl, he than sees that its Makayla.

Larry: TRY TO STAY ABOVE WATER AS LONG AS YOU CAN!!

Makayla: Go back to Katie and get her home.

Katie: NO!!!! LARRY GET HER!!! DON'T LET HER DROWN!!

Just than a broken tree limb comes down the creek and hits Makayla, Makayla goes under the water and Larry doesn't see her come back up.

Larry: MAKAYLA!!!

There is no sound other than the rain, creek roaring and the storm. Larry swims back to the bank and starts to run while yelling and looking in the river for any sign of Makayla.

Katie: MAKAYLA!!!....MAKAYLA!!!!... NO MAKAYLA NO!!!!

Larry: MAKAYLA!!!!!....COME ON GIRL!!!

Katie: FIGHT MAKAYLA!!!...MAKAYLA PLEASE!!!

Larry and Katie continue running down the bank near the creek yelling and searching. There is still no sign of Makayla. When they reach a bridge which is three miles from their house and their is still no sign of Makayla.

Larry: We should go back and get help

Katie: NO WE HAVE TO KEEP LOOKING!!

Larry: SOME HELP YOU ARE! YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE! YOUR BLIND!

Katie: WELL ITS NOT MY FAULT I'M BLIND YOU IDIOT!!

Larry: OK! Fine let's keep looking.

They continue down the creek another six miles before Larry sees Makayla on the other side of the creek, laying on the bank. He swims over to Makayla and feels for a pulse.

Larry: I CAN'T FEEL A PULSE!

Katie: DO SOMETHING!! DON'T LET HER DIE!!!

Larry does CPR on Makayla for a hour and 15 minutes, just as Katie is losing all hope, Makayla starts coughing and throwing up water.

Larry: Your alive!!

Katie: THANK YOU!!

Makayla: C-can w-we g-go h-h-home?

Larry: I'll carry you.

Larry carries Makayla the nine miles back to her and Katie's house.
