Katie: Don't make promises you can't keep.
Lau: I'm sorry, besides your appointment ain't until next month.
Katie: Why are you telling me this now?

Katie: I'm probably going to forget.
Lau: What would you like to do?
Katie: Are we near wherever we're staying?
Lau: No. We're about another 4 or 5 hours away.
Katie: OK.
Lau: are you hungry?
Katie: A little bit.
Lau: I know a good place where we can eat.
Katie: Pizza?
Lau: no but they have steak
Katie: sounds good.
Lau: you scared?
Katie: a little
Lau: I'm right here you don't have to be scared.
Katie: what if someone asks me about my eyes?
Lau: you'll just have to tell them.
Katie: some people don't like people who are blind.
Lau: How do you know?
Katie: I just know.
Lau: Not everyone is like that.

Katie: I'm just use to staying home and being near Makayla

Lau: I see people walking, i see trees and cars.
Katie: Can you pull over for a minute?
Lau: sure.
Lau pulls the car over and puts it in park. Katie gets out of the car.
Katie: it smells likes its been raining.
Lau: it probably was.
Katie: I owe you an apology.
Lau: Why? What for?
Katie: Remember when we first met?
Lau: I sure do.
