Hatred

A few nights later Makayla wakes up during the night with a strange feeling, she gets up and goes downstairs, Larry is asleep on the couch in the garage, Katie asked or more like told him to move in until things were fixed between him and Laurent of course Larry didn't like that but when he seen the worried look in Katie's blind eyes he just couldn't say no and he didn't want to go home anyways. Makayla continued into the kitchen.

Larry: No Lau please stop!

Makayla knew he was having another bad dream about when Laurent kept beating him. As usual Katie woke up and went into the garage, she didn't notice that Makayla was in the kitchen.

Katie: Larry its alright. Your safe, he ain't going to hurt you no more, i promise you.

Katie never made any promises unless she knew that she could keep them.

Larry: What makes you so sure?

Katie: Makayla has been over there everyday for the past three days, she told me that he's doing better.

Larry: I just miss him though!

Katie: I know you do but I just want him to be better before you go back, you are a fragile soul Larry.

As soon as Makayla heard the word fragile she starts to cry because she remembers her dad telling her that Katie is fragile.

Katie: Try to back to sleep bub.

Larry: i will.

Katie starts to go back to her room when she feels Makayla's troubled presence.

Katie: Makayla?

Makayla: Yeah?

Katie: You OK?

Makayla: Yes i'm fine.

Katie: No really whats troubling you?

Makayla: I SAID I'M FINE!

Katie: I'm sorry.

Katie quickly goes to her room and shuts the door, Larry gets up off the couch and goes into the kitchen where Makayla is.

Larry: Whats wrong belle?

Makayla: Nothing

Makayla starts to cry.

Larry: What's the matter?

Makayla: I DON'T KNOW WHATS WRONG!!

They both hear Katie's Eminem playlist on her phone.

Larry: She's blind but how does she still call and do things on her phone?

Makayla: She speaks what she wants. I yelled at her! How can I yell at her like that?

Larry: Calm down

Makayla: DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN!!

Larry: why don't you try to go back to sleep?

Makayla: Not tired plus I want ice cream but we don't have any

Larry: I was going to get some snacks of my own tomorrow but I'll go now and pick you up some ice cream.

Makayla: Thank you. Can you get some Pepsi and chips and dip and pizza rolls while you at it?

Larry: Yeah.

Katie: Bring me some chips and dip and Pepsi too!

Larry: OK!

Katie: Here I'll give you money for our stuff.

Larry: No I'll pay for it because you both have been so nice and kind to me
