Larry and Laurent(Les Twins) get into a fight and Laurent goes for a drive, He ends up driving in the country he notices a girl in a ditch crying. Will he be able to fix things with Larry? Will he be able to help the girl?
This takes place in winter and near Christmas. Enjoy!
It had been nearly five months that anyone had seen or heard from Lau and it was two weeks before Christmas. Katie normally loves Christmas but now she hated and dreaded it. This would have been Katie, Lau and the twins first Christmas as a family. Katie spent the days crying and blaming herself for everything. She stopped eating completely and now weighed 38 pounds. She thought about death all the time. Today she sat at the window watching the snow fall with tears streaming down her face. Makayla was worried Katie would try to commit suicide but so far Katie hadn't.
Makayla: hey
Katie: The snow falling looks a sad beautiful.
Makayla: Want to help decorate the tree? Larry's bringing it in now
Katie: No
Makayla: Are you sure?
Katie: Yes I'm sure. can I go for drive?
Makayla: be careful. Here's the keys.
Katie: thanks
Makayla's pov: Maybe a drive might do her some good. I could just kill Lau. Where the fuck is he? Does he not even care what he did to Katie?!
Katie left and a few minutes after Laurent showed up with a baby boy.
Lau: Larry
Larry: Laurent, Katie's not here.
Lau immediately got scared and worried that something had happened to Katie.
Lau: where is she?
Larry: She went for a drive and she's hurting Laurent. You really hurt her
Lau: I came to fix things.
Larry: You waited five months to now fix things?! Your really fucked up
Lau: Larry please I want my family back.
Larry: What about Crystal and her baby?
Lau: She didn't want the baby. I have custody of him.
Larry: Well I got to get this tree inside. I'll send Makayla out. If she says you can wait for Katie than your welcome to come inside if not you better leave.
Larry took the tree in the living room and set it up. Makayla got her coat on and went outside.
Makayla: What do you want?
Lau: I want to talk and fix things with Katie.
Makayla: She's not here
Lau: can I wait for her to come home?
Makayla: I guess. Hope and Faith are playing in their lay pin. Katie hasn't been well enough to care for them by herself.
Katie drove to a bar and went inside. She got highly intoxicated but she couldn't drink away Lau's memory. She got in Makayla's car and started to go 90 a icy road, She made a really sharp turn onto a very bridge she skidded and lost control, a semi truck was coming right towards her.
Brakes locked
Horns honked
The car and semi collided
Katie heard sirens blaring and seen blurry lights. She didn't feel anything, she forgot about Lau and all the pain. She felt at peace. She was in and out of consciousness on the way to the hospital. Her blood alcohol level was 5.4. Doctors didn't think she even make it. She was in a coma and had to be put on life support.
Makayla was worried Katie had been gone for hours and they seen on the news of a intoxicated woman was in a car crash. She tried to call Katie's cell, there was no answer. Finally at 4 in the afternoon she got a call from the hospital. She froze.
A silent scream escaped her lips.
She dropped her phone
She couldn't move
Tears fell.
Larry: Baby what is it? what's wrong?
He rushed to her side.
Makayla: Katie was the one they mentioned on tv. S-she's I-in a c-coma.
Lau ran out of the house and drove flying to the hospital not caring of the ice and snow covered roads. It didn't seem real to him. It didn't seem real to any of them. Katie never drank and she surely wouldn't have got intoxicated but she had.
It was all Lau's fault and he knew it.
He ran into the hospital with his heart beating fast and tears falling down his face. He asked the receptionist where Katie's room was and he ran as fast as he could to her room. Once there he stopped frozen crying heavily.

He slowly walked to her side. Her legs were broke and so were both her arms. He noticed that even in a coma she was crying.
Doctor: She's very critical.
Lau: *whispes* Baby I'm sorry please don't die.
Not long after Makayla and Larry showed up. Makayla was so upset she had to be taken from the room.
Makayla:*cries and screams* YOU CAN'T DIE! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT LAURENT!
After about midnight Katie was staring to get weaker.
Doctor: You can keep on life support or let her go.
Makayla: SHE'S MY TWIN! KEEP HER ON LIFE SUPPORT I DON'T CARE HOW LONG IT TAKES KEEP HER LIFE SUPPORT!
Doctor: Mr. Bourgeois it's your decision.
Lau: Keep her on life support.
Doctor: Alright. She's still in a coma. I suggest you all pray for a miracle.
They all prayed as hard they could. They didn't sleep that night. As the night turned to day Katie was gradually getting weaker until 9 o'clock in the morning when she stayed the same not getting weaker but not getting stronger just the same. Katie was still critical but there was a faint glint of hope for her.
