It had been two days since Katie had grown strong enough to endure surgery. Lau had decided to name their now weakening little girl Angel Grace Bourgeois. He new Katie would love the name but if their little Angel died all he could think about is how sad and depressed Katie would be.  He was terrified of losing his wife and another one of his babies.  He was crumbling inside but he didn't show it and Larry was at home watching his three girls and two nieces and Makayla his sister-in-law was in the bathroom. She refused to go home to Larry until Katie was able to go home.  Lau felt bad for cheating on Katie and everything he done to her.  He went back to when they first met.  She was in a ditch with her shirt ripped and blind.  He scared her so much that she ran into a barbed wire fence and he took her to his old home.  How long ago that seemed and how much has changed since than. Katie was strong but she was still very fragile and sensitive. Makayla was kind and loving but damn she had a temper and she could go from sweet to murderious in 0.000001 seconds.  Larry was very nice and he could be sensitive at times but he did have a temper and protectiveness. Hope and Faith so much like their mother but very sassy. Lilo like her dad and as for Christina exactly like her mom and Lisa so chill and collected and a Queen in her own way.  Lau wondered what Angel would be like and if she would make it.

Makayla: any news?

Makayla's voice jerked Lau out of his thoughts.

Lau: no not yet

Makayla: I'm surprised your still here.

Lau: look I know a made a big fucking mistake of cheating on her.  I fucking love her and I'm so terrified of losing her. I'm terrified of losing my little girl. I lost my son and I know it hurt Katie when he died.  He died in her arms. I know you don't trust me but I took a vow to my wife and I have a ring to prove our love.  I know I don't always show it but I love her and I'll be here for her always no matter what you think or say.

Makayla: Lau I'm sorry. 

Lau: it's alright. I just wish that they both will be alright.

Makayla: I do too Lau. 

After a few hours the doctor came out. 

Lau: my wife?

Doctor: we got the internal bleeding to stop and she's resting well. Your baby girl is stable and slowly getting stronger as well.  If everything goes fine you can take your wife home in a few days and baby home in a month.

Lau: thank you doc.  May I see her?

Doctor: not just yet Mr.  Bourgeois a nurse will take you back in a couple of hours or so.

Lau: okay thank you

Katie woke up in recovery all she could think of was her baby and Hope and Faith and whether or not they were well taken care of.  After what felt like a entirety Katie got to see Lau.

Lau: How are you feeling?

Katie: Like i got ran over by a train.

Lau: You must not feel too awful bad to be joking. 

Katie: Your impossible sometimes you know that?

Lau: I know.

Katie: Angel?

Lau: She's okay baby 

Katie *sighs with relief*: thank God

Makayla: hey you

Katie: Hey yourself

Makayla: Looks like we'll be sharing a room tomorrow blue eyes

Katie*with worry and concern in her eyes and voice*: ARE YOU OKAY?!
